Wow. WOW.

I am just completely stunned by the level of awesome that you all brought to this campaign. I'm so happy we made it to the end, well over the stretch goal. It was intense for a second there, but we beat the bots and rocketed over that $2k mark. This means a lot of things:

This is my highest-earning crowdfunding campaign EVER. INSANE.
This is the most backers I've ever had on a crowdfunding project.
Most importantly, this is the first time I've made all my money back for editing costs for a project.

What's so crazy about this is that I've been publishing professionally for 8 years, and a lot of my projects have been funded via ramen noodles and pocket change. Previous crowdfunding campaigns have always made just enough to print the thing, but not enough to do much more. It's very, very rare for an author to be able to go, "I made a profit off this," and be able to pat themselves on the back for all the hard work they did.

Court of Snakes was a #1 Bestseller on Amazon when it first came out, but before that, it was Crowning Justice. It was a not-so-great book I had published in college, so to rewrite it and see the first book shoot up to be a bestseller, then to have the sequel and omnibus be 185% funded is just mind-boggling to me. I've grown so much as a writer, and I'm not only proud of the book Crowning Justice has become, but thrilled to finally be able to publish the sequel and finish the series.
