Project Update: Project Update: New art and proof of life
I mentioned adding padding into our delivery because occasionally, "life happens", and as it's wont to do, it has happened the fuck out of the Pendley household. We've been dealing with a pretty serious pet illness while simultaneously dealing with a pretty serious family illness. Neither one of those issues have been catalysts for good communication, so I want to sincerely apologize for that.
BUT. We persevere. 💪🐺
The text of the entire document is finished (backers, check below for the link); we're just waiting on Tasca to finalize the remaining art, and then it's off to Qedhup for his layout treatment. In the meantime, I will tackle the pledge manager and get that sorted.
That's all we've got for now, but as a parting gift for this update, I present art from No Mercy For Monsters for The Trail.
Thanks again for all of your support, and good hunting, Woodsmen.

Project Update: The Hunt Has Ended!
WE DID IT, FOLKS!
Massive thanks to the incredible 231 of you who backed No Mercy For Monsters.
I'll be back in a few days with a proper update, but for now, I'm going to take my partner out for some delicious Turkish food to celebrate.
Many thanks and much love, fellow woodsmen.

Project Update: Final 24 hours and 200 Backers Achieved!
WE DID IT, FOLKS!
This has been a passion project kicking around in the back of my brain for a few years now and being able to get it out in front of you all and see it hit shelves and tables in the real world is truly an honor.
Thank you all.
I don't have any new finished art to show off (our dear Tasca has been struggling with a cold and needs her rest), but I do have a sketch to offer before I go for what will become art for the Trail.
Clubs: The Trail
Thanks again and see you on the other side!

Congratulations on a successful project. The zine looks and sounds great! I backed at the physical zine level and have two questions... 1) About how many pages do you estimate the zine will be? 2) Why are you estimating $5-10 for US shipping fulfilled through DriveThruRPG when their standard rate for media (even a larger book) is $4.50?
Project Update: Final Hours - Will We Find Our Absolution, Woodsmen?
If you're like most casual update enjoyers, by the time you read this, our campaign will have less than 48 hours left.
Our first swing at Zine Quest feels like a success, and we're both very grateful for your support, both financially and by helping us spread the word on social media. Each and every one of you is a glorious beast we would love to be trapped in a liminal wood with any day.
We would also love to be able to hit 200 backers before we close out, so if you're in the mood to continue the push with us, we're still posting on Bsky and would love a boost, or if you have a friend who would be interested in this tragic gothic horror/romance solo zine, send them our way!
Thanks again, folks!
- Jess
Other Radness
People of the Vale
I absolutely love titles like this that introduce a new, fully fleshed-out character to interact with in your world and gives the GM something to do with them right off the bat. Issues 1-4 have been available previously digitally, but this campaign will allow you to snag them in print for the first time, as well as grab the brand-new issue 5.

Heroes & Hardships
For those of you who don't know, Heroes & Hardships is a universal roleplaying game that allows gamemasters to craft any story they desire. Heroes & Hardships contains many options to facilitate diverse styles and genres of play; GMs can easily create fantasy, sci-fi, modern, historical, and super hero games.
This Kickstarter is technically to fund a GM Screen and FVTT support, but it's the perfect time to grab the core book and catch up on a very rad universal system. You can get a nice preview of the system and how it works at the link below.
