Hey guys! The new samples for Amphicyon and Smilodon are rolling, and Smilodon is at the front of the sample queue so hopefully we'll see him sooner rather than later! I should have a few others to show off/finalize next week too.

POLL 2 Should we change manufacturers for Smilodon?
Since Amphy isn't looking as good as I had hoped, I think we should change gears for Smilodon too, since he's using the same manufacturer. I haven't paid for his sample yet because they want to finish my other two first, but I don't think they'll get him right.

Hey y'all I think I should get a new sample for amphy, he's so far off from my drawing and the current manufacturer for him will cost me almost quadruple what I'd normally pay for a plushie of this size.

28" Dunkleosteus - Finalized!
16" Thylacoleo - First pass! We'll change a few fur lengths and colors, and get that thumb claw sorted out!
28" Thylacine - Finalized! He will have less stuffing so he'll be floppy too :)
28" Amphicyon - Second pass! We will be tweaking the overall shape a bunch and adding a couple markings, but he's pretty close! The tail will be fluffy too, and he'll be floppy, not stiff.

WOW I can't believe we're already a week away from launch! I was excited to have more time to plan this campaign but man it went by so quickly!! I wanted to post an update with the current state of the samples/refs for those who don't check the project regularly! Here are all the refs;
And here's the current state of all the prototypes! I should be seeing more new/updated ones in the next few days before we launch :)
16" Eohippus - Finalized!! *being sized up bc I wrote the measurements wrong
5.5 Lungfish Tiktaalik Plush Keychain - Second pass! Gonna go back to small eyes but otherwise he's done
16" Dodo - Second pass! He's great, we just need to change some colors around!
16" Megaloceros - Sample is in progress!
28" Smilidon Fatalis - Sample has not been started yet.
16" Dimetrodon - First pass! The face will be a bit longer and the tail/sail transition smoother, as well as 3D toes and he'll be made in fur, not minky
16" Dire Wolf - First pass! Gonna change the face shape a bit
5.5 Common Water Strider Opabinia Plush Keychain - Second pass! He's gonna get bigger eyes that are hopefully plastic but otherwise he's done
16" Quagga - Sample is in progress!
28" Dunkleosteus - Finalized! He will not be changed further

16" Doedicurus - Second pass! Will be sized up and the tail spikes will be stuffed, as well as the black lines on the feet removed
28" Thylacine - First pass! Tweaking the face shape a bit as well as a few other small details
28" Amphicyon - First pass! They had the wrong reference image so the next one should be way closer to the ref lol
And finally, as far as the bonus rewards offered during this campaign, I haven't forgotten about them ;) They're being finished up now and I'll announce them as soon as they're ready! I also have two new double sided skeleton keychains being finished up too, here's a sneak peek of one!
