Project Update: May Something Crawled Out update: preparing for reward shipments!
Hi, all!
We want to thank you all for your patience as we've navigated the last few months of industry shakeups and the other challenges. Our jumbo issue of Something Crawled Out #3+#4 has finally gone to print, and we're getting prepared to send that final issue out to backers, followed shortly by the Backerkit Exclusive trade edition of the book. In the next few days, we'll be locking your orders, locking your addresses, and we will be collecting any remaining shipping charges for your orders. We'll also send an email reminder, as promised, to our subscription backers who we contacted previously about discounted bundled shipping and shipping refunds for the final combined issue.
Here are some additional updates from us about the final few issues and timing of Something Crawled Out rewards:

Here are some additional updates from us about the final few issues and timing of Something Crawled Out rewards:
- SCO final single Issues #3 + #4 is printing, and physical/ digital copies will be sent to backers before the end of the month.
- The complete collected NSFW side comic will be sent to backers before the end of the month.
- The Complete Backerkit book editions of Something Crawled Out is expected to ship in July.
- All other final rewards (additional issues, posters, stickers, etc) will be shipping with the book as well--some items, like the hat, will ship separately and may arrive to backers early.

Project Update: Something Crawled Out update
Hi there, Something Crawled Out backers!
We've got some updates to share with you all--don't worry, nothing too scary (we'll save that for the comics).
The News
With blessings from creators Son M and MadCursed, we've decided to release our final two issues of the comic in one jumbo-sized combined issue that includes both #3 and #4 together. This will be released in shops in April, followed shortly afterwards by the full trade paperback and BackerKit-only editions in early June.
The Why
The comics market has been wonky lately, to say the least. We saw the writing on the wall and slowed our release schedule near the end of 2024 to protect our creators. In January, Diamond Comic Distributors, the largest distributor of single-issue comics in the US, declared bankruptcy after months of instability and damage, so it seems that slowing down was indeed the correct call. Now that we've had time to assess the new landscape, we're finally able to complete the series as the creators intended.
What This Means for Backers
If you purchased any physical issues of Something Crawled Out that we will not be taking to print, then you'll be fully reimbursed for the price of those comics as well as for any shipping you may have been charged so far (in the case of our physical subscription backers). Otherwise, no other action is needed from you--we'll be crediting any affected backers this week. All other rewards will still be shipping once we've got them printed and ready in a single package for you, and we'll still be completing digital delivery of the full comic (including the entire NSFW 4-part side comic, for those partaking).

Some updates for you: we're starting the initial fulfillment process for Something Crawled Out backers! For most of you, shipping is still a ways off, but a select number of tiers get our attention now.

- Something Crawled Out – OC cameo/ YCH
- Something Crawled Out – Issues #1-#4 physical mail subscription
For all OC Cameo tiers, please reply to the email we sent to the email you provided so that we can get you or your chosen character into an issue of the comic. And for all Issues #1-#4 physical mail subscribers, please reply to the email we sent to you all so you can choose your preferred shipping option. If you backed at any of these tiers and did NOT receive an email from us, please reach out and we'll make sure that gets to you asap!
We will be releasing a few surveys this week to a small percentage of backers, and releasing all other surveys after that. We will NOT be charging shipping costs yet, except for Issues #1-#4 physical mail subscribers, since we'll be fulfilling the first round of specific orders for the release of the series on August 21 ✨
