I've been making sets of carousel themed pins for a bit now, and as part of pintopia last year did a pride flag themed cryptid carousel set. You can see these finished pins below. (these are all available as add-ons too)
The new set for this campaign will get to some pride flags that weren't included in the last set with new cryptids and folklore creatures as well. Also, as part of pintopia I am part of the Lore and Myth banner, and if you back 3 projects that are part of that banner you'll get a free exclusive mini pin from each of the Lore and Myth campaigns you back.
All of the pins in this set will be black metal hard enamel pin with two posts and screen printed details (the sarmatian sea snail does not have screen printing due to it having 9 regular colors). Pins will be 1.75" to 2" and come with different color rubber backers. The first pin to unlock will be the Sarmatian Sea Snail in the colors of the Gilbert Baker 9 stripe flag. This flag was made by Gilbert Baker in 2017, adding a lavender stripe to his original flag to represent diversity. Please note designs are not final and there may be small changes to color and design in final product.
Early bird backers who back in the first 48 hours will receive a free sticker version of the Sarmatian sea snail design with a holographic shell.
Returning backers will get a haunted forest ghost deer carousel sticker for free.
Anyone who pledges at a level of 5 pins or more (pledge level of 5, 10, 15, or 18 pins) will get a free transparent sea monster carousel sticker.
Anyone can also choose stickers as an add on. There are also some other add-ons available, including the remaining terrashot pins that were the collab pins from my first pride flag carousel campaign as well as previous carousel pins. It's possible I might add more add-ons, I will make an announcement if I do.
As part of Pintopia, this campaign is part of the Lore and Myth banner! This means if you back any 3 or more Lore and Myth campaigns you'll get a free exclusive mini pin from each Lore and Myth campaign you back.
For this campaign you will receive this mini carousel unicorn (around .7 inches) in trans pride flag colors
While the campaign is going you can pledge to any open level and your money will be withdrawn only at the end of the campaign if successful. The pin designs available will depend upon how much is raised during the campaign (see the pins section for specific pin goals). You can also choose to add on any of the add-ons at any point you choose, which will be in addition to the rewards for your pledge level. There is also the possibility of new add-ons being added which will be announced in an update if this happens. After the campaign is complete, you will receive a survey which is where you will be able to choose which unlocked design you want and additional add-ons that will be shipped with your order. Once you make your choices you will see shipping charges. The cost of additional add-ons and shipping will then be charged when surveys are closed. Please keep this in mind. If you have selected pay over time please note there is a small chance some pins may be limited for you since you will fill out the survey after I have already ordered pins. Payments made through pay over time are non-refundable.
Shipping
Shipping will be charged separately through the backerkit surveys sent out after the campaign. Shipping will be charged by weight but generally will be around $5 for the US, $10 for Canada and $20 for any other international orders. Backer is responsible for any VAT fees. Also please note I cannot ship at all to the EU or Northern Ireland due to current shipping rules. For the rest of the UK, there are pre-order tiers, shipping will be free on backerkit and paid through a custom listing on my etsy after pins arrive.
The dates for after the campaign ends are approximate, please be aware there may be delays at any point.
