Hi everyone, as you can all see I’ve been struggling with this on my own this campaign has been a pretty truely crazy ride i genuinely thought i could pick myself up and manage. After my mental health took a huge hit, I started panicking anytime i considered working on this, then the tariff situation happened and while it doesn’t directly impact me in Australia for the most part I was very worried that since the origin of the items was China that it’d cause other issues people getting charged more or me ending up with an extra fee on importing. I really don’t want this to be a reflection of my business or on Ashley, it’s just a blip in terms of everything feeling like too much at the moment. Of course when I took on the project which I didn’t expect or plan for any of this and didn’t keep Ashley in the loop enough to where I was at now I’ve noted that i should’ve prepared for this to potentially happen even on a just incase basis and not to try and manage everything alone when things are falling apart but i really hope nothing like this ever happens again.
So current plan is if you want to request a refund I’ll and space them out as to not financially impact myself and completion of the campaign since I’ve already spent some of it on sampling and packaging but I understand some have fallen out of love with the designs due to the wait I want to do my best to make sure everyone who requests will receive one. Please comment below and I’ll organise it and I know it’s rude to ask anything from you but once it’s issued please reply to your comment so others know that I’m honouring it and reliable on this matter.
Those who want to buy the rest of the designs just released which are featured below can find them in the preorder shop it’ll be closed after the 11th and I’ll reopen the store after I’ve completed fulfilment with the limited extras so people who enjoy the designs and might have gotten refunds or missed out have a chance to reorder the excess when trust is restored!
The last thing I want is for this to read as a sympathy card I’m just explaining where I’m at please take it as such, I don’t expect people to trust or return instantly or at all I just want to make things right! i truely appreciate everyone for keeping this community so sweet and kind for how flaky I’ve been if there’s anything I can do right now to help please let me know. I’m not going anywhere this time I truely promise especially now that everything is out and done in terms of the art side of things.

Pin progress:
Despite being gone I’ve still been doing what I can behind the scenes to progress the production and try to match the campaign work thankfully my manufacturer was sweet and offered me some new molds for free but I’m still stuck with progress on the honey pin because I’m torn which direction to go or how to fix it I do think I need to replan the mold again (this isn’t the new one they just offered a free redo) because the recessed effect is not working how I planned for but I’m not sure how I like the flatness of the screen print on the jar either
I fear in my want to make something super cool I strayed too far from the design I wanted to create but I’m just thinking about what I can do to make it like the artwork, maybe since some manufacturers have implemented magnetic cat eye or sandblast effect with A’s colour? Definitely need to fix the recessed area of “honey” that should be metal

I think the strawpurries came out exceptionally cute! Obviously these are samples where you see the screen print overlap it won’t be like that on actual production and if it is I’ll clean each individually!

Hello, I’m sorry for going away again. I didn’t mean to do this to everyone. I don’t want to go too far into personal details, but at some point my stress and mental stability reached their tipping point, and I tried to force myself to be better, which utterly backfired and I shut down fully.
VioletCascade isn’t a business it exists because I want to make these products for others and myself. I’m not for profit, I’m for making things that make people happy. I promised I would make these pins, and you bet I will! For the long wait, there are going to be additional out-of-pocket surprises for everyone. I just want to do what I’d planned before becoming ill and hope it’ll create a good experience or as much as I possibly can to make up for being gone.
I’ve got strawberry patterned tape and pink cardboard boxes ready to go as soon as I receive the pins and other items! I’m a little bit of a perfectionist, and I want these things to bring joy and not be filled with negativity. While I have others around me to help, there’s not exactly anyone who can jump in and inform you when things go wrong, and this is something I realise should be disclosed or that I need to fix in future campaigns.
Additionally, I got a little bit too caught up in the news, which didn’t greatly help my mental health pertaining to convincing myself that the pins had any value with what’s going on currently around the world. But hopefully they can be a little bit of joy in all this.
I’ve redesigned this honeypurry pin to feature the same transparency effect as the sugar jar pin

I had a couple of representative changes at the factory, which delayed the production of samples further after they experienced flooding and staff changes. This caused significant disruption to the campaign timeline. The good news is that the new representative is proving to share better quality and timely responses to changes, so we should progress at a better speed now!
When I took on this project, I initially thought I was in a good place mentally to start working on my business again, only to realize what I’d experienced had left me far more anxious than I’d realized. It’s not realistic for me to assume everyone is going to come after me with pitchforks and torches for a couple of missed updates or if I update too often, but I can’t shake the feeling whenever I do send out an update—regardless of how long it’s been. That shouldn’t be on all of you, who’ve been so supportive and kind.
Ultimately, it culminates in me feeling guilty for not being able to achieve all I set out to do. Combined with frequent stress-related illness and migraines, I just sort of stepped back for a while to refocus on what I can do for everyone.
I have enough from the campaign to create additional mini pins (Honeypurr Cat, Kitant, and a Sourpuss), which I shall add as an extra freebie. I’ll also see what else I’m able to add as goodies, especially for those on the Pawtybox and people who’ve spent over a certain amount.
I haven’t charged cards yet and will wait until things are ready the update will be titled accordingly!
Due to my manufacturer having issues, it took until now to get the sample images and the pins at a quality I’m happy with.
Honey Purrs: I was hoping to have it transparent, but I’ve settled on pearl and will have screen printing over the top! Don’t worry about how blobby they look; it’s simply a color sample, and I will personally inspect each one before shipping. c:

Hi everyone hope you’ve all been well! I don’t like putting out updates that don’t contain much but I hope this is reassuring to those of you who are wondering where everything is at because i myself finally have information to share! my medication hasn’t really helped me to be able to work on too many new things yet which initially it was fine and working but ended up draining me a lot this is why i haven’t charged cards or closed orders. I still believe I’ll be able to add more designs to the store and survey very soon! I appreciate everyone’s patience immensely!
So my manufacturer has been keeping me informed about the current situation there a couple floods have meant the process has been a lot slower than usual but they’re currently working on screen printing the samples! Here’s some additional photos, note not screenprinted and definitely over sanded and some other flaws which will be fixed in production!

Another update on something which I’m unsure of what I should do, I have these two plush in production currently waiting on samples for them too. They’ll be 27cm including the ears and tail so will fit most cotton doll clothes which i think will be adorable!
But I’m wondering if i should add them to the store as a preorder or run a small campaign with them of course I want the physical samples shown and confirmed before all this but I do have a retail store already lined up for a few!
My apologies if I’m ever too quiet about updates or what’s going on I get anxious that I’m doing too many and not enough at the same time and know everyone leads busy lives!
