Thank you so much for checking out my crowdfunding project - Kitties Love RPG Hard Enamel Pin Series 2! I am Catherine, the creator behind Walnut And Clam. This is my twelve crowdfunding project (Kitties Love RPG Series 1 was my third project). All my previous projects were successfully funded through Kickstarter. This is my first time running a project on Backerkit, and I am very excited to give this a try. By using this platform, I am hoping that I will be able to introduce my arts to more people who likes RPG and cute kitties!
As mentioned above, Kitties Love RPG was one of my earlier projects. The designs were inspired by one of my favorite genre of games, role play game. In the first series, I created five characters. You can check these designs out in the Previous Project section below. For series 2, I am back with five more characters, and I am very excited to turn them into enamel pins!
Before we dive into the designs of the pins, please allow me to introduce you to the world where my kitties live in, Whiskerwood. It is a little town surrounded by nature, and the residences here enjoy a slow and simple lifestyle. Once every two weeks, the games loving kitties of Whiskerwood would gather around to enjoy a night of fun games. Sometimes they play a board game, sometimes a card game, but what they love the most, is role playing game~ A new campaign is about to start. Please welcome the new members to the party!
There are six different designs for the hard enamel pins. Five of which are standard size pins, ranging from 1.5" to 2" big. These pins will have two pin posts at the back with rubber clutches. The sixth pin is a mini pin, measuring approx. 0.9". This mini pin will only have one pin post at the back with one rubber clutch. All of the pins are gold plated and come with a Walnut And Clam back stamp to indicate its authenticity. Here are the designs! Our first goal is to unlock the Cleric at $500 CAD. Other characters will be unlocked as we reached each respective goal.
Once the meowmic pin becomes unlocked, it will be available as an add-on, and a freebie pin for all backers who backed for three or more pins!!
Backing Cards
All pins will be shipped out with backing cards. However, to save on material and time for fulfillment, the pins will be packed according to below guidelines. If you wish to receive individual backing card for each pin, please let me know when you fill out your backer's survey.
One pin - the pin will come with one 2.5" x 2.5" backing card. Two to four pins - the pins will be secured on a 3" x 4" backing card. *Please note that the above backing card designs are not final.
Stickers will be available as sticker pack that includes all five characters, or you can purchase them individually as add-ons. Stickers are printed on weatherproof matte vinyl sticker sheet. Sizes range from approx. 2.1" wide for the bard to 3.3" wide for the summoner. Having such a size range is to make sure all the kitties will look around the same size when placed next to each other. Stickers will become available once the initial goal of $500 CAD has been reached!
All the add-ons can be added to your pledge on the add-on page when you back the project. Some items are only available as add-ons such as individual stickers and the mini meowmic pin. Most of these items will not be available in the pledge manager to ensure that we order enough items from my manufacturer for all backers. Lastly, there will also be additional add-ons available in the pledge manager store after the campaign ends!
Shipping fee will be collected separately from the pledge after the campaign ends. Yes, this means your credit card will be charged twice. Once for your pledge for the pins/ stickers, once for shipping fee. Here is the estimated shipping cost for each country:
United States - $10 CAD, comes with tracking
Canada - $5 CAD, no tracking. If you wish to have tracking included, please let me know in the backer's survey. Shipping fee with tracking differs depending on where in Canada I need to have the package ship to, therefore I am unable to provide an estimate here.
International - As shipping fees changes all the time for international packages, please contact me for an accurate estimate for the country I need to ship the package to.
Canadian backers -I will be collecting GST/HST for all Canadian pledges along with shipping charges after the campaign ends, and remitting the GST/HST back to the Canadian government. Customer will be responsible for any provincial taxes.
US and International Backers - Backers are responsible for tax/custom fees.

Above timeline is just an estimate based on my previous projects. If there are any changes due to production issues, I will send out an update to all the backers.
