Welcome to my newest hard enamel pin campaign - Kitties' Space Dream. My name is Catherine, the creator of Walnut And Clam!
As a child, I have always find the many subjects evolving around space intriguing. From the moon, the planets in our solar system, comet, black hole, distant galaxies, to aliens. Unfortunately, as you grow older, other more important, more pragmatic subject matters take over your life, and space had became a childhood memory.
Was it coincidence, or maybe it's fate, but lately my four year old fell in love with space, and the next thing I know is that we are reading books about supernova, searching through the internet trying to figure out what is a singularity in regards to black holes (don't even know how we even got to this point....), or doing fact checks on the total number of discovered moons Jupiter has as of today. How fascinating! And all of this has fueled my imagination, and inspired me to created this hard enamel pin series, Kitties' Space Dream! If you also have a little space dream in you, I hope that my art will rekindle that for you!
Before we started, I am really excited to announce that we are a Pintopia 2026 crowdfunding project! This year, I collaborated with another amazing artist, Mochiville (see link for their project), to bring you two exclusive crossover pins!!
To get the freebie pins, here is what we need to do:
1. Both Mochiville and my project will need to be 100% funded. 2. You will need to support both of our projects (any physical item reward tier).
2. Campaign Freebie
A new freebie has just been added! To get this mini orange planet (hard enamel pin), you will need to pledge for $30 CAD or more during the campaign. Below are some scenarios to help you with the calculations:
1. Have two or more standard size pins in your pledge 2. Have one premium pin set and anything else (ex. mini pin, sticker sheet, standard size pin, etc) in your pledge 3. Have three or more mini pins in your pledge
*The freebie pin will be added after the campaign is over in your pledge manager. So you will see it when you fill out your survey.
Now, let's take a closer look at all the designs from my campaign!
There are a total of 12 hard enamel pins for this campaign, and they are categorized into three different types. See below image for a quick reference:
1. Mini pin - small pin that are less than 0.8" big (for exact size, please refer to each designs). These pins will only have one pin post and may not come with a back logo due to the small size. All the alien cat pins from this series fall under this category.,
2. Standard size pin - pins that are 1.5" or larger (for exact size, please refer to each designs). These pin will have at least two pin posts unless the design does not allow it. Pins will come with a walnut and clam back logo.
3. Premium pin set - the set includes one standard size pin and one mini pin. Two designs from this series fall under this category: i) Meowper 25 and moon ii) M120* and castronaut (note* these two pins are joined together with a chain that is undetachable.)
Different pin types cost differently to make, thus their retail price will also be different. When you are making your pledges, please make sure you pay special attention to it to ensure you get the pins you are looking for! Now let's take a closer look at each of these designs~
New Designs Added - All Unlocked!
Two new mini pins has just been added!!! These two mini planets are going to be hard enamel pins with only one pin post at back. The size is approx. 0.8" for the orange one and 0.9" for the purple guy. Since they are very small, there will not be a back logo on them.
You can get these pins from the mini pin pledge level or as a mini pin add-on. If you backed the full set tier, you will get the mini orange planet as a freebie, but you must add-on one more mini pin to get the mini purple planet.

Some of the pin designs from this series will also be available in stickers! Thanks to everyone's responses in the poll, I have decided to make them in a sticker sheet format with a glitter effect! Below left is what it will look like before I apply the effect so you can see which designs are going to be there. Below right is a quick mock up of what it will look like with the glitter effect. Please note that it is not the final version and I do intend to add more spot effects than what you see right now in the mock up. But I really do like how it turns out so far.
The sticker sheet measures 4" x 6", and the individual stickers range from approx. 0.6" for the little blue cheese moon at the upper left hand corner to approx. 2" for the black hole at the bottom left. Please note that the sticker sheet will only be available as an add-on.
Jan 22 - Project launches! It will run for 21 days. Feb 12th - Campaign ends Week of Feb 22nd -Surveys send out Middle of March - Lock orders. Production begins June 2026 - Receive pins July - Aug 2026 - Rewards send out
Above timeline is just an estimate based on my previous projects. If there are any changes due to production issues, I will send out an update to all the backers.
Shipping fee will be collected separately from the pledge after the campaign ends. This means your credit card will be charged twice. Once for your pledge for the pins/ stickers, once for shipping fee and tax/tariff where applicable. Here is the estimated shipping cost for each country:
United States
$20 CAD (with tracking)

Canada
$5 CAD (no tracking) for 1-3 pins. Tracking upgrade available.
$15 CAD (with tracking) for orders with 4+ pins. (No PO. box or rural and remote address). There will be an additional charges for PO boxes, rural and remote area. Please contact for an accurate estimate.
Please see below for GST/HST. This will be collected in pledge manager.
Australia/ New Zealand: ~$25+ CAD (with tracking)
Singapore: ~ $18+ CAD (with tracking)
Japan/ Korea: ~$20 + CAD (with tracking)
Canadian backers -I will be collecting GST/HST for all Canadian pledges along with shipping charges after the campaign ends, and remitting the GST/HST back to the Canadian government. Customer will be responsible for any provincial taxes.
US backers -I will be collecting tariff in the pledge manager, and remitting it to the US governement via my shipper when I ship out your package. The % of tariff differs among different items, and it will show up in your pledge manager for your review before completing your survey. Please note that tariff rates may increase/decrease during or after the campaign, and I will update the rate in the pledge manager when neccessary.
International Backers - Backers are responsible for tax/custom fees.

All sales are final. There will be no refund, exchange, cancellation after the campaign ends. Please DM me if you have any questions or concerns with your products. Backers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address. If the package was returned due to an incorrect address/package not picked up, backer will need to pay for shipping again before having the package re-sent.
