PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Nearly there!
Howdy folks! Sorry it's been a minute, but we wanted to wait until we had a good heap of news to tell you before filling your inbox again. So, here goes.
Randy, layout editor extraordinaire, is in the neighborhood of 2/3 of the way through layouts of the zines--after which it's off to the printer, and then to you good people! We're hoping to get the files over to our trusty printsman in a month's time or so, and will run the surveys at about that time.
In related news, we've got some more Weird Frontiers goodness headed your way, in the form of a handful of modules and another slew of zines! We'll be starting with a 3rd-level adventure that we anticipate BackerKitting in early winter, followed by a new set of zines for Zinequest in February, and finally two more WF modules (one a level 4/5) in the spring and early summer of 2025. Keep an eye out!
And, if you're of the con-attending persuasion, come join us at Gamehole Con in Madison in October! Several of the Wayward Studios crew will be running events from our From Out of Gnollwhere line as well as some super-early playtests of our upcoming horror-themed game, Horror Cinema Classics. Event registration is later this month, so please--stake yourself to a spot at one of our tables, and say hello!
We'll be back soon--and until then, Happy Trails, Pardners!

Do you have a timeline for getting the zines printed and shipped?
PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: That's a wrap!
And just like that, we're all done! And holy guacamole, what a run! Nearly 7x our funding goal and just short of 100 backers for our li'l zines--thank you all so much for your faith and generosity toward our project!
So, here's what's next: We're going to tinker a little bit with some of the formatting and art, and then should be able, once Backerkit releases the funds to us, to get your books printed and shipped out to you all fairly quickly.
Then, it's back to work on some of the other projects we've got cooking at Wayward Studios this summer, fall and winter...like Book Two of From Out of Gnollwhere over on Kickstarter (look for an announcement on that one in about a month or two) and our own brand-spankin' new DCC-compatible TTRPG homage to those great horror flicks of the VHS era, Horror Cinema Classics!
Keep an eye on us at WaywardStudiosRPG.com, and once again, many many many thanks!

Are backers going to get the PDFs? It’s common practice nowadays to include them when you buy the print version.
