Meet Warden, a Balinese shorthair cat with a big heart and a full, adventurous life. Warden's world includes his family – his grandparents, auntie, and Mama Cam, the creator of this campaign – his favorite blanket, and all the paper bags he can find.

This campaign's first tier includes 2 Warden pins + a surprise free Pintopia 2 pin (more on that at the end!). If we hit our funding goal, there's a third, stretch goal pin to unlock!

Each of these pins will be between 2.5-3 inches at its widest/tallest point, made of hard enamel with gold plating and two pin posts.

For those new to BackerKit, it's a platform similar to Kickstarter with the same model – when you pledge for a pin (or 2 or 3), you don't pay unless the project is fully funded!

If this campaign is fully funded, all non-physical tier donations and tip jar proceeds will be donated to Smarty's treatment. Smarty is my friends' three-year-old cat who is in immediate need of life-saving diagnostic testing and treatment – treatment my friends are committed to pursuing, but finances may get in the way. Hi! I'm Cam! You might know me from my Skull Pride or Possum Pride pin Kickstarters, my Etsy shop, or my ever-unhinged TikTok page. I'm so thrilled to be part of Pintopia 2 and even more thrilled to finally have the chance to bring pins based on my cat to life. He's a charming, wonderful, sweet creature who has touched the lives of many, and I'm so excited to share more of him with more of you!

IMPORTANT INFO - Shipping costs will be charged to you AFTER the campaign and SEPARATELY through the BackerKit platform.

At the time fulfillment comes around, I'll be located in California and will be able to ship to anywhere in the world. The cost for shipping will vary depending on the location the items are being sent to and the weight of the package.

Below is how I've calculated the estimated shipping costs for the various rewards:

The rewards will be sent out via USPS First Class Mail/Media Mail and will come with tracking numbers. I've successfully used USPS to ship pins via my Etsy shop, which is why I've selected them for this project.

Each pin will be shipped in a waterproof bag inside a water-resistant bubble mailer. This is also how I ship my pins, patches and stickers for my Etsy shop, and I have received no complaints regarding the integrity of the packaging.

International backers: Please keep in mind that you will be responsible for any customs/VAT fees that you may incur. It is illegal for me to change the price or mark the items as gifts on customs forms. Any packages that are rejected and returned in good condition can be refunded the cost minus the shipping.

Due to the new VAT laws in effect on July 1st, 2022, impacted backers will likely receive VAT charges upon delivery of their rewards. By backing, you understand that you may have to pay VAT upon delivery.

Please note that these are all approximations; it's very likely I'll end up ahead of schedule (though it depends on my manufacturer's pace). I'd rather overdeliver than fall behind!

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS - Early backers will receive a discounted rate on their pins – this is to (hopefully) provide an incentive for more people to back this campaign! The early backer tiers last for the first 72 hours of the campaign.

PIN SELECTION - You will choose which designs you would like after the campaign ends in a Backerkit survey email. Choose your tier based on the number of pins you want from this campaign.

ADD-ONS - There may be a limited amount of pins available for add-on to your order after the campaign is over. If that is the case, I will include those options in the BackerKit survey sent out after the campaign. To be sure you get the amount/kind of pins you want, please be sure to pledge for the quantity you want!

I've successfully executed two crowdfunding campaigns and have definitely learned from my mistakes and errors along the way. I'm committed to running aggressive social media campaigns on my high-engagement platforms (TikTok and Twitter) to attempt to make this a reality, and will also have the support of the Backerkit team along the way!

When manufacturing pins, delays and color variations are always possible, but I'm working with a trusted manufacturer with an excellent track record of great pin production. Because the pictures shown on the hero image of this campaign are mockups, colors may vary slightly, but I have worked hard to select colors accurately.

If necessary, there may be slight changes in the design to prevent manufacturing problems, but the overall aesthetic and design will stay the same. Additionally, once pin production begins, my manufacturer will be sending me progress photos and videos for ongoing quality checks to ensure I get exactly what y'all expect the first time around!

For those new to Backerkit, this is an all-or-nothing crowdfunding platform for people to pledge their support to a project they are interested in. The funding is handled in a pledge now, pay later mechanism. Backers are only charged once the funding campaign is over AND the initial goal has been met. Until the funding campaign is over, backers can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their pledge at any time. Additional information regarding the backer’s shipping address and chosen rewards are collected at the end of the campaign through surveys sent through BackerKit.
