Project Update: Miniatures reveal!

Hey everyone, I've got a few fun things to show you for Gallerie today, come check them out! First off, the second Manifestation tour!

This is part two and covers Felines, Insects, and Reptiles. Make sure you check out Part 1 as well to get the full tour. Between these two videos you should have a pretty solid idea of what these manifestations are about and how to represent them, so I'd love to hear about which ones you're thinking of playing!

Continuing on the examination of the add ons, I wanted to spend some time getting into the minis! That's these guys right here:

So far only 4 of you have gotten in on this, and it's a hell of a collection to sleep on. The one's featured in this image are only the ones involved in one of six enemy factions in Gallerie, and while I don't know for sure that all six will get minis (that's...that's a lot of sculpting) I do know we've got more than just these. But while we're here, let's check these out! (forgive my iphone camera, it's doing its best)

So this set was printed at ~around~ dnd scale. Technically dnd minis are in the 32mm range but they tend to fudge them on the high-side for heroic. The figure on left is about 38mm tall.

This is an initial rough print, the final scale for these figures will be closer to 45-50mm tall for a standard human. Gallerie operates at that scale for a number of reasons. One: our square grid is 3 feet to a square rather than 5, which makes it easy to line up your maps (a door is around 3 feet). Two: many characters in this game take up multiple squares, which just give them more striking presence on the battlefield, and 3: many Muses in this game are rather small compared to a human, and at 28mm they end up losing all their detail.

BUT! I can already hear you: "I wanna use all my existing minis for various enemies!"  Good news my friend: Ill be exporting the stl's at both 30mm scale and Gallerie's native scale, so you can print the ones you want. I think the game looks better bigger but I want you to be able to use the collection you've already got too!

The figures you're seeing here are members of an enemy faction called the Prelacy of His Eternal Word, and they've got some pretty delightfully horrific details. This is where a bit more of Gallerie's "classic" horror comes into play. This guy here, for instance, is called a Saved, and has been "rescued" from damnation through lobotomization during a moment of pure agony, then re-animated as an organic tool. Saved bodies are the "gloves" by which the Prelacy keeps its hands clean, and you'll find them scattered throughout their ranks:

Shown here being ridden by an imprisoned Caroler, a sort of "trainee" who is seeking redemption from some earlier transgression. Saved cannot see, so they're guided by a language of signal whistles by their Carolers who are often locked to their backs to force them to share the same fates.

Deacons, one of the most horrific entities in the Prelacy's ranks, are grafted at the waist to Saved to make use of their speed and durability while maintaining their minds and dexterity. Brushwork is a horrid thing to the Prelacy, but they're more than happy to invent reasons to make it okay to use as long as it leads to killing things they hate more. Deacons circumvent the sin of Ink by extracting Medium from those in the Prelacy's ranks already Damned for their use of Brushwork and harnessing it through ancient sketches deemed "acceptable" in the Prelacy's eyes. With several Damned batteries at their disposal a Deacon can harness even more Medium than a Muse, and are formidable foes.

The Deacon isn't a part of the intro adventure (they're very powerful) and as such isn't included unless you grab the .stl add on or the patron tier, so if you want this monstrosity pick it up! Peeps, a miniature release of this scale often constitutes a fundraiser of it's *own.* The fact that you can get it in just an add-on pack is pretty dang cool. If you don't have a printer there are plenty of print services online and you'll be getting the .stl ready to rock.

As I'm doing test prints Ill feature more of the models in the set, but I'd also like to do videos on the enemy factions as we go, so keep an eye out for those!
