I'm thrilled to announce that the MONSTER GUTS 2e Quickstart is now available! You can find it (for free) on the new MONSTER GUTS 2e website.

- The nuisances found therein
- The Great Gristlebear
- Solo play changes
- A one-shot hunt
It's a bulky quickstart (including almost as much information as the entire first edition of the game), which is part of why it's taken me this long to put everything together.

EDIT: I've set up a channel in the Hell.EXE discord server for folks wanting to connect with other scavengers. Additionally, I've made my Tabletop Simulator module for MONSTER GUTS 2e publicly available as well. Currently, this is the best way to play MONSTER GUTS 2e digitally. I am working on options for VTTs like Foundry and Roll20, but they will take time to develop and playtest.

Project Update: Timeline Update
Hello scavengers!
I hope the end of the year is treating you all well.
I've had a rough month - between losing power for over a week in late November and catching COVID in December, I've had significantly less time to work on MONSTER GUTS than expected. Additionally, the new GPSR regulations have added several new requirements for shipping to folks in the EU, and navigating those requirements is going to add some time on the fulfillment side of things.
Between losing a lot of work time now and accounting for future time spent navigating the GPSR, I've decided to shift the delivery timeline back by two months. I expect the PDF will be finished and distributed in March and the physical copies will start arriving in June. This was a difficult decision, and I apologize for the delay.

Project Update: Crowdfund Achieved
Hello scavengers,
We're here! Thanks to all of your support, the MONSTER GUTS 2e crowdfund has come to a successful conclusion! I'm working today to set up the pledge manager, and I've also set up the Pre-Order store to allow folks who missed the campaign the opportunity to still buy the physical and digital edition.
I'm hoping to have the MONSTER GUTS 2e Quick Start available by the end of November, which will contain enough of the game for you to hunt the Great Gristlebear and a couple of its friends.
In early December, I will be sending out the backer surveys to allow you to finalize your pledge details, so keep your eyes peeled for those. For you Monstrous Bio-Scientists, I'll be using your survey responses to start scheduling when we'll be co-designing your monsters.
I'm still stunned that not only did MONSTER GUTS 2e fund, but we overfunded by such an incredible amount. I'm humbled by your support, and I can't wait to get more of MONSTER GUTS 2e in your hands.

Project Update: The Final Stretch
Hello scavengers!
We're entering into the final week of the MONSTER GUTS 2e crowdfund, which is really a victory lap for all of us. The monster maker streams have been an absolute blast, and the 6 backer-exclusive monsters run the gamut from excellent first-Hunt foes to fearsome, end-of-campaign terrors. While the summaries of each monster are now available in a new Story section here on the crowdfund page, I recommend watching the stream VODs to check out some of the incredible/awful/terrifying/spectacular things these monsters have in store.
Also, you know, since these monsters are a backer-exclusive, please reach out to everyone you know who might be interested in some monster hunting ttrpg action! I'd hate for folks to miss out on these fantastic creatures. In case you've missed them, our roster includes:
Buzzkill, the Big Buzzing Bastard, a Common-rarity, ultra-pollinating bee.
Puff One, the Big Plant Dragon, a Common-rarity flying plant that festoons the battlefield with thorny growths
Drasva-Kenbu, the Lepidopteran Fantasia of Light, an Uncommon-rarity advertising moth with an affinity for crowd control and enticing other monsters into the fray
Verdant Prometheus, the Roaming, Flame-Propagated Wickerbeast, a Rare-rarity wildfire-spreading plant with a hunger for flesh and is responsible for the incineration of Eastern half of North America.
Rav-Norok, the Ravenous, Fractal Stalker, a Rare-rarity colony of parasitic Raven-Worms housed in a rotting Fenris-carcass that infest nearby corpses and whose escape from the abattoir-industrial complex led to the extinction of all animal life in the American Midwest.
The 6th and final monster will be made on-stream by Adira Slattery and myself this Saturday, 11/9, at 7:30pm Pacific, so tune into the DubDubPub twitch to see what we cook up!
Outside of the streams, I've been hard at work designing the 14 base game monsters, and I'm excited to talk more about them as I finalize the details.
