We are stalled out for art at present, and with my job ending at the start of the month due to the company I've been with for 5 years going bankrupt, things don't look good for my basics like food and rent.
So, I've a plan!
As I have promised two things;
1] Not to us AI art for this project.
2] Not to ask you to just give me money again for nothing...
I am starting at the end of July a backerkit for the 5e version of HEROIC! This is an ambitious challenge, but one I believe in. As many people as there are who love the FASERIP (or what I now called HEROIC CLASSIC) engine, there are lots more who don't.
So, the plan is this, by raising money for the HEROIC 5e art needs, that art can be double purposed back to the HEROIC CLASSIC game as well, killing two-birds with one-stone...
If you are looking for ways to help get this project finished, there is no better than the make sure you are onboard for the HEROIC 5e campaign!
We are still working on art for the project, with the good news that Jacob Blackmon is joining us to help get the art done.
As you know, the book is laid-out, we are now catching errors, typos, etc... Slow going but moving along.
TJ Frias is still doing more and more backer art (See attached), and is really killing it!
With that said make sure you respond to Shane's emails for any adjustments, so we can move to finals, and if you haven't seen yours yet, don't worry, we're working through them all!
That's it for this month, hope to have some Jacob art to show next month, as well as a coloured final cover (by Tony!)
Until then, I am forever grateful for your patience with this project and promise it will be worth the wait.
We are getting 40mm/1.5" of ice from heave today, so I don't know if I'll be online soon enough.
So that said, despite us having no new news for updates (the rules are done and waiting on the intro adventure still), here's an update on Tony's cover!
