Project Update: IMPORTANT: Surveys, Shipping, and Scholarships

We're getting ready to ship your rewards, which means it's time for surveys!

SURVEYS
This campaign is slightly different than other BackerKit fulfillments: BackerKit has streamlined the survey process, so when you complete your survey they will lock your order and charge your shipping fees right away. This sets us up to ship next week.
To keep this process as streamlined as possible for fulfillment, we are only offering three extra add-ons in the surveys: Grandmaster, Art of Grandmaster, and a Scholarship Contribution fund.

SHIPPING
Here's what to expect:
December 11 (today) – We send a "smoke test" to a random 5% of backers. This helps us make sure that surveys are functioning properly.
December 12 (tomorrow) – We send all surveys to backers. The fastest way to get your rewards is to complete the survey as soon as you receive it. Two reminders: we did not charge shipping fees during the campaign, those will be calculated and charged now. Also, please remember that Grandmaster and Art of Grandmaster ship separately, and will incur a separate shipping charge.
December 15 (Monday) – Shipping begins. We've get products out the door as quickly as we possibly can, but it's still likely to take a few days to process everything.
January – We'll do a second shipping pass to fulfill late surveys.
INTERNATIONAL BACKERS
Packages will be shipped with duties due on arrival. If this is an economic issue for you, feel free to email us at [email protected] and we'll troubleshoot. We can currently do pre-paid duties for Canada and can add that extra cost to your shipping fee manually if you email us. For EU backers the cost to add duties is far higher than it should be, unfortunately, but this is an option.

SCHOLARSHIPS
We are entering scholarship recipients manually into BackerKit today. Your surveys will go out tomorrow. We didn't receive enough support to cover shipping for every scholarship recipient, so if you need assistance with shipping costs, please email [email protected] and we'll give you a shipping credit.
Scholarship recipients are receiving a set package of rewards from some of our favorite projects, including World of Valdemar, The Gamers, and Strowlers!
