I’m Claudia Blood—though you may also meet me as CJ Blood or Claudia Belle—an award-winning author who refuses to color inside genre lines. From science-fantasy time loops to cozy crystal shops, from romantasy dragon courts to small-town romcoms, my worlds are bound together by one constant: underdogs who rise, break the rules, and forge found families in the teeth of chaos.

My background as a research scientist means I can’t resist weaving science into magic, myth into tech, and heartbreak into hope. Whether it’s a dragon-bonded queen, a talking rabbit with questionable life advice, or an assassin trying to outrun time itself, my characters fight for meaning when the odds are stacked against them.

When I’m not conjuring new universes, I live in Minnesota with my kids and a rotating cast of furry sidekicks. I’m thrilled to share my latest adventures with you—whether you’ve come for the bunnies, the dragons, or the rebels with a cause.
