A SOUND OF THUNDER is a 100% independent and fan-funded American heavy metal band. We've funded our albums, videos, comics and other projects on Kickstarter since 2012 and are making the move to BackerKit in 2026!
We've made eight studio albums, multiple EPs, live concert films, music videos, animated videos, and even our own comic books. We're best known for our songs and music based on our character the Queen of Hell and her nemesis Udoroth, for the viral heavy metal version of the Catalonian anthem "Els Segadors", and for our official musical adaptations of Valiant Entertainment comics & characters!
This isn't a project. It's not a business. We're just four musicians bonded by friendship and our love of making cool stuff in the spirit of classic heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, and more.
