🧸 Here for the plushies, probably! Never, ever can have too many plushies 🧸
(I DO have too many enamel pins and oracle decks, but somehow keep ending up making room for more, lmao. I also discovered ouji fashion [masc version of the J-fashion EGL style] on here, so I've begun to support some of those campaigns as well!)
Some current, upcoming, and further-in-the-future plushie campaigns I'm supporting (as of 1/20/26):
Current:
° Snuggle-Wear by SugaryCarousel (January 2026)
- Sugarbell Pal plush backpacks, hoodies for humans AND plushies, plus one new and two returning Sugarbell Pals!
Upcoming:
° Patchkins Plushies by YuuniNya (Pintopia 2026, January)
° Dragon Hoard Keeper Plush - A Chonky Adventuring Companion! by Dream Vale Studios (Pintopia 2026, January)
° Anxious Cheetah and Emotional Support Puppy Plush by Snapling (Pintopia 2026, January)
° Snuggle Dreamers Plush Ita Bags by Tokyo Girl Designs (Pintopia 2026, January)
° Pawtelier Pals: Cuddles 'n' Couture Plushies by Appleminte (Pintopia 2026, January)
° Rain Dragon, Goaticorn, and Moon Fish by Floral Frolic (Pintopia 2026, January)
Also upcoming, but post-Pintopia:
° Circus Sweeties Series 2 by Charmsey (February 2026)
Further-in-the-Future:
° Deadweights - Creepy Cute Weighted Plush by Lairbrew (August 2026)
° Very Huggable Softies Series 2 by Jupy (TBA)
Unknown:
(Campaigns which did not fund on the first attempt, but that thei creators are reworking and for which I'm waiting on a relaunch announcement)
° Loveable Loungiez by Luchini

I'm autistic and Backerkit in general has become one of my special interests at this point! I love getting to see the intricacies of stretch goal projections, participation in prototyping discussions, joking with fellow backers about which plushie design is the most ~valid~, etc!
I often do my best to answer common questions other backers may ask (always clarifying I'm not the project creator, and linking to the source when I can). But if this ever creates any issues, please let me know ASAP!

Here be the Section of Sadness 😔
I'm also here because I strongly agree with Backerkit's anti-genAI policy. I just wish they'd extend it to the written aspects of campaigns, such as intro pages and updates. ChatGPT & other LLMs are genAI too. Using them is just as scummy and unnecessary and plagiarizing and environment-damaging as using image generators. (I say this as a someone whose own work has been scraped and incorporated into LLMs without my consent.)
Multiple times now, I have excitedly checked out an upcoming or recently launched project... only to end up having to press the back button when it became clear that the creator cared so little about their own campaign that they didn't even write their own intro post or campaign page.
Why should I, as a prospective backer, take the time to read something that the creator themself couldn't be bothered to write?! Why should I pledge to such a campaign, when dozens and dozens of other creators run campaigns full of amazing art/writing, using authentic & detailed communication full of their actual thoughts, feelings, ideas, and experiences?
Why should I give my money to a creator and trust that they'll see a project through to completion over months or even years... if they don't even want to put in the comparatively miniscule effort to write a campaign page?!?!
As for the creators of campaigns which use genAI software for "prototype images"? I don't even understand why they're on this site at all. In the most the polite way possible: Kickstarter's polices and general backer pool are a far better fit for you/them than the explicitly anti-genAI crowdfunding site.
(Thankfully, the vast majority of creators here fully adhere to Backerkit's policy and vehemently support limiting the use of genAI 💛💛💛)
