Carolyn Belefski is a cartoonist and the creator of the comic strip, Curls. Carolyn’s illustration and design work has appeared in magazines, newspapers, comic books, and national advertising campaigns. Carolyn is known for her fluid linework, playful illustrations, and charming characters.
Carolyn graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University earning a BFA degree in Communication Arts and Design. She is a National Cartoonists Society member and is chair of the Washington, DC chapter. Boom! Studios, Clorox, National Geographic, and The Obama Administration White House are a handful of the clients that have commissioned Carolyn to work directly with them.
Her illustrations and comics has been published in RISE: Comics Against Bullying, Ranger Rick magazine from United States National Wildlife Federation, District Comics, USA Weekend, Virginia Living, Indie Comics Magazine, Magic Bullet, The Washington Post, and more.
