I’m endlessly fascinated by flora and fauna, planetary systems, and the theory of parallel universes. I like to explore different mediums and textures in my work; lately I’ve been incorporating watercolor, ink, and acrylic with traditional painting techniques. By merging organic forms with figurative and surreal references, I’m able to play and experiment with visual contrast, by way of color and composition. I aim to transport the audience to an unexpected and intangible place, where curiosity and introspection are piqued. 

Born in Los Angeles to Chinese immigrants, I have lived in the Bay Area since I was two and am currently based in Oakland, California.
