Susanne Schmidt is an indie Horror and Fantasy writer. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from Saint Louis University and has been a finalist in the BBNYAs and a semi-finalist in the SFINCS competition. She is most well known for her Order of the Strawberry Circle (2023 - ongoing) series.
She is a member of ALLi and volunteers as press liaison for the Autorenverband Franken (Franconian Author's Union).

She dabbles in digital art and supports indie authors by running the horror spotlight "Spooky Spotlight" on Bluesky as well as organizing horror-themed book bundles.
