That's right, folks, we now officially know what a Metadungeon looks like!

Thanks to your ideas, and some suggestions from the RRD team - who, it turns out, all have highly specific trauma around dungeons - I was able to send Juan (Odd Artworks on YouTube) a set of art prompts, which he's now turned into a map.

While the map is not of the Metadungeon, in that it is not the map of the dungeon that will be in the book, it is an expression of the Metadungeon: the ideas that go into it, and some examples of the fun details a GM could tailor to their group's experiences. ("Oh good, we've found the NPC we're inevitably going to adopt. Everything is proceeding to plan.")

Odd Artworks' drawing process is also just a really fun thing to watch. He's endlessly creative and his art is joyful. Check out the Metadungeon map video here:

Goodman Games generously reached out to those of us active in the third-party publishing world to ask whether we would be interested in producing materials to support their Castle Whiterock campaign.

The DCC and 5e versions may tell the same story, but they do it in their own way. This isn't just a stat-block swap. We've worked to capture the distinct flavor of both systems, not just in the writing, but the art, maps, and layout are all attuned to their system.

The Carnivorous Cauldron is a weird, fun adventure set in a twisted subterranean garden vault filled with Three-eyed goblins, psychic flowers, plant people, un-dead botanists, and of course... a carnivorous cauldron.

The Carnivorous Cauldron can be dropped into any subterranean campaign, run as a one-shot, or used in conjunction with Castle Whiterock.
