I do have one more exciting announcement -- I will be vending at a VIRTUAL con this weekend that all of you are welcome to attend for FREE! It takes place on Discord via the Spots application -- for more information, you can check out THIS TikTok. It's so cool and I'm excited to be part of a really cool emerging option for artists to get their stuff in front of folks!

I just wanted to touch base about some questions that arose from the survey.
First, collaboration rewards:
These were "automatically" added to qualifying carts; however, you might not see them when you complete the survey.
I have double-checked; they are there. Because I didn't link them to a SKU during the campaign (it exists for returning backer/early bird/reservation pins etc.), collaboration rewards had to be manually added through creating segments (Since these numbers are only known post-campaign). Backerkit staff informed me that this means you won't see them, but they are there! This is what I see for the packing list:
Pledge "Upgrades":
Some of you may have noticed an item that says "upgrades" when you complete the survey. These are the pins added during the survey.

Tariffs:😢
Unfortunately my US backers have to pay tariffs and will see those in their carts. Tariffs are calculated per item based on value, where they are manufactured, item type, and estimated arrival date in the US since it's variable and can change on a whim. Which means each item has different rules and rates (setting it up is a headache). What this means is that unfortunately even of you backed multiple campaigns with me, even if I shipped it together, it won't lower the cost. I wish I could do this, but this is something out of my control.
I miss the free-trade agreement.

Exciting news! The surveys have been approved, and I just sent out the smoke test! 5% of you will get the survey. Please complete it as soon as possible and let me know if there are any issues. Hopefully, thinks will be smooth sailing, and no issues will arise.
I will send the remaining surveys early next week, provided there are no problems.

It's been a while since my last update and I apologize. Summer got busier than anticipated and the challenge of trying to balance spending time with my family/travelling made me less productive than I like. Summer is always chaos without the routine of school and kids being home and trying to squeeze as many memories as possible into 2 months.
But I finally have good news, I just finished setting up the survey and it's been sent for review by the Backerkit team!
Hopefully there's no screw ups this time with the SKUs, so my hope is to start getting surveys to you starting next week.
If you backed both Zodiac Derpies & Pride Pins, I will try to see about shipping everything together.

On some completely (slightly, because it's part of why things didn't get done faster) unrelated good news, I did an 8 day sailing race/trip with my husband and we won!
This is us on our boat "Hard Mode" - yes that's a pirate flag, yarrr!
The trophy we get to keep for a whole year.
A humpback whale tail - we saw so many! And dolphins! We were totally spoiled.
Okay part of the reason we won was because there was almost no wind and calling it a "sailing" trip is a bit misleading. But we peddled our hearts out (sacrificing knees and hips to get the trophy)
Why am I mentioning it? (Other than I get to share something personal) My next Derpy Dragon campaign us "Derpy Adventures" which is heavily inspired by sailing and pirates!
I probably won't run it until after shipping all the Pride/Zodiac pins, but you can follow it in the meantime here! Here's the sketches:

Apologies for the radio silence, this month has been far more hectic than anticipated and I ended up falling behind. I am currently waiting on an order of stickers before I can officially start packing. But the pins are in my possession and I will begin the process soon! It will take me a bit just because of the volume of packages, and I am only one little guy. But I plan on having everything shipped out by the end of the month at the latest!

Shipping has taken waaaaayyyy longer than I expected with some day job work piling up, but you all are slowly getting tracking information and I am expecting corrected sticker sheets in the next handful of days so the majority of packages will come with the correct sticker sheets! WOOOOOOHOOO.
This is the last update to just let you all know all the remaining orders are shipped, and the pre-order store is now closed!
If you haven't got a tracking number/shipped notification, then it's likely you are one of the few people who haven't paid your outstanding balance yet! You will have until October or so to fix this; otherwise, your pledge will be closed.
If there is an error with your order when you get it, don't hesitate to comment / email ([email protected]) and we will do our best to fix it for you!

I'm just popping in to let you all know that enough of the demi girl/boy pins are shipping to me, so fulfillment can wrap up once they are received!
Schedule for the next couple weeks:
-I'm doing a large drop off tomorrow after an appointment which will consist of most of the remaining orders.
-Either this week or early next week, I should be getting the final shipment of pins in. I plan on getting these graded, backed, and then sent out. I do have hand surgery next Monday, so getting the last 18 or so packages out may take a smidge longer, but I will get them out asap.
Project Closing September 14th.
Since the project is starting to wrap up, I will be closing it on the 14th. I am still missing a decent number of surveys and payments, so this is the final notice to get these corrected.

We are finally here! All orders have been packed and are waiting for drop off at the post office. Tracking has been sent to all the remaining orders but don't expect any movement till next week as its the weekend.
