Project Update: S is for Shipping
Backers,
As you read this, we are in the midst of shipping out your orders. More than half of the orders have already shipped, and the rest will be on the way soon. We anticipate that all orders from backers in good standing will be shipped by the end of next week.
We'd love to see you you with your books as they arrive. If you decide to post about them on social, please remember to tag us @TheSurrealAri, @saramccallephron_illustration, and @mikedoestheart.

Project Update: the Awful Alphabet Shipping Update--Please Read
Backers,
We've finally got the shipping sorted, so this one is important.
1. Physical backers: You should have received an email earlier today from Backerkit which said that shipping will be charged in 48 hours from the time of the email. This is for PHYSICAL backers only.
2. If you are a LOCAL backer (I'm in Nassau County, Long Island New York), you may select "local pickup" on your backer account. If you would like to make arrangements to pick up your books (in which case, there would be no shipping charge), please select the local backer option and email me at [email protected] to arrange pickup.
3. If you are an INTERNATIONAL (Non USA or Canada) physical backer, please select "local pickup" in your backer account and email me at [email protected] to arrange international shipping. I do not want to overcharge you for shipping through the Backerkit system, so please select "local pickup" to make appropriate arrangements.
4. Some electronic backers were inadvertently sent the shipping charge email today. That issue has been resolved, and I emailed those who were affected earlier today to explain. IF you are an ELECTRONIC only backer, you will not be charged for shipping.
Once shipping is collected on Friday, fulfilment will begin. We plan on fulfilling orders throughout next week.

Project Update: The Awful Alphabet Fulfillment and Shipping update
Backers,
It's been too long since I send an update, so here's what's going on:
The team has been working through some printing issues with the paperback edition, which has delayed fulfilment to some extent. We think we've nearly solved them, and with that hope in mind, here is what is going to happen in the near future.
1. You should have already received your electronic rewards. We hope you're enjoying your eBooks and digital art. Please let us know if you've had any issues downloading your digital rewards.
2. Despite the printing issues, we have a good idea of the shipping costs based on the proof copies we've received. As such, we will be charging cards for shipping early next week.
3. The hardcover books are already in hand, so orders with a hardcover will ship as soon as the shipping labels arrive from Backerkit.
4. The current printing issues are affecting the paperback edition. We hope to have those resolved imminently, and will order books ASAP once we have approved the proofs. It usually takes a couple of weeks for printing/delivery.
