Just wanted to touch base on a few items. Tomorrow I'll be traveling out of state for the holidays so there likely won't be any updates until after I return home on December 28th.

You may have noticed that cards have been charged for pledges (around 24 hours after the campaign ended). BackerKit/Stripe is still reviewing and processing those funds. I should note that 6 cards were declined, so double check if you think it could be yours! BackerKit will attempt to charge the declined cards again but if it is unable to process the payments, I'd need to collect the funds through the upcoming surveys.

Surveys will be sent out December 27th. They're used to confirm your orders and collect shipping info, but keep in mind shipping will not be charged until we get closer to fulfillment.

If you do not complete your survey, you cannot receive your rewards so please be sure to review and complete them as soon as possible!

Rob and I will be convening after the holidays (likely early January) to discuss and potentially create the first molds for the Mini-Hatchling resin figurines. This means next month is when you'll likely be able to see our first batch of casts!

It's a bit overdue (I was up late watching that countdown clock tick away) but I wanted to give a big thank you to all who pledged, shared, and otherwise supported our campaign. Tender Hatchlings is a very small project and I know there's a lot competing for our attention these days, so the fact that you'd share some of yours means a lot me.

I also want to thank all of the Stretch Goal artists and writers for considering being a part of this weird little thing (they all make amazing stuff and deserve a follow!) and if we weren't able to hit your goal, I sincerely hope we work together in the future!

We're nearing the end of the campaign. I'm super thankful to all those who backed the project and especially grateful that we were able to fully fund within the first day. We've been hovering right over the edge of Stretch Goal #2 for a while now and as I've mentioned on socials, I would love to bring in as many guest artists and writers as possible so please help us get that one last big push before the campaign ends! Please share if you can, or if you've been waiting to pledge, now's the time!

And speaking of guest artists, I wanted to shout out Rob Perez of Pineapple Creations who will be helping me mold and cast the resin Mini-Hatchlings that some of you will be receiving!

Rob loves to build little worlds! He dabbles in miniature painting, terrain making, sculpting, and resin casting. If you attended PAX this past weekend, you may have even attended his Terrain Building Workshop!

With Rob's guidance, I've made some adjustments to the Mini-Hatchling sculpts with green stuff to make the molding and casting process easier. With the holidays rapidly approaching and our schedule's full, we likely won't be able to have our preliminary test molds done until January but I'll be sure to keep you updated with photos as soon as they're available.
