Apologies for the lack of updates. Life circumstances have turned fulfillment into a slow trickle rather than the big wave I had imagined but I wanted to reassure those who have yet to receive their rewards that you have not been forgotten. A little over half of orders have been fulfilled so far with the rest still underway. I'm currently traveling to address a family emergency but will once again resume fulfillment on my return.

Most Mini-Hatchlings will be in nifty eggs. Unfortunately, a certain Hatchling's big meaty claws makes fitting in said egg impossible, so to those who have/will receive The Invader figurine, a thousand pardons for the lack of cute thematic packaging.
Another heads up: those who ordered the full set of Mini-Hatchlings will likely receive rewards last since we had to pause on casting for a bit, which in turn is going to delay the painting of complete sets.
Furthermore, a handful of you are still missing shipping info! Please double check your emails for surveys from BackerKit and complete it to receive your zine & lil dudes!
Digital copies have been sent out to all backers! Additionally, the first "wave" of zines have been shipped!
I'll be hopping on a plane in a few hours but the rest of the distribution will resume when I'm back from visiting family on May 10. As mentioned in the last update, backers with the Mini-Hatchling rewards will have to wait just a bit more but production is underway.

Fulfillment will commence shortly. You'll be receiving notifications from BackerKit about upcoming shipping charges with the actual charge date planned for Thursday, May 1st, though it is dependent on when I get confirmation from BackerKit. We're still a bit behind on the minis but casting is underway. With the refined sculpts and molding process, things are looking good but backers with the Mini-Figure add-ons will have to wait just a bit longer.

The test print came in and I'm happy with the results! I made some tweaks after catching a few mistakes (mine, not the printer's) and placed the full order for the books! Here's a quick peek at what some of you fine folks will be receiving.
Once the books are in and the figurines are done, I'll be reaching out via BackerKit to collect shipping fees. We're all another step closer to tending to hatchlings!
As we’re approaching the end of March, I wanted to fill you in on what’s been happening.
Looks like my original projection of fulfillment taking place in March was wrong. But not by much!
First off, layout is done and the first (and hopefully last) test print has been ordered! Assuming there are no issues after reviewing it, the full order for the zines should be placed shortly after.

The Mini-Hatchling Figurines are taking a bit longer than projected. Because they’re being cast in a garage with limited temperature control, it’s been too chilly in olde New York to get things cranking. Luckily, the weather has been warming up so we’re preparing to do our final casts in the coming weeks. While we’ve been waiting, Rob has been gracious enough to polish the master sculpts to ensure we aren’t getting the irregularities that plagued a few of the test batches.

By the time those are painted up, the full order of the books should be in and shipping can commence! So we’re now looking at getting things sent out by the end of April, which in hindsight seems a much more appropriate month for an egg-themed zine.
You’ll likely be receiving notifications from BackerKit announcing that orders and shipping addresses have been locked (you’ll still be able to change your shipping address afterwards if you need to). On Friday, March 28 cards will be charged for any add-ons you may have purchased on your surveys.
