PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Making progress!
With two weeks left in the campaign, we have surpassed 75% of our goal! I'm so grateful to everyone who has contributed so far, and especially to everyone who has paid it forward with the community copy add-ons! There's currently an achievement goal to hit 50 community copies to help get the game into as many hands as possible. As someone who has been through my fair share of economic hardship, it's important to me that we make our games accessible to everyone we can, regardless of income.
I am confident that we will meet our goals, so please continue to share the campaign with your friends, post it in discord, and aim for some stretch goals! I'll be sharing more updates as they come and I've got something very exciting around the corner for y'all.

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: An amazing launch!
First of all, I want to thank everyone for their support so far! Thanks to you all, we exceeded half of the goal in the first 24 hours! I am so excited for the rest of the campaign and cannot wait to see how far we can go. For this first update, I just want to catch you all up on the various news that's been scattered across various places.
The Open Playtest
Bring Down the Stars is currently in playtest, and you can get an early version of the game right now on itch.io. This version is feature complete and ready to play. Future updates will include more setting and lore information, more GM guidance, and more detailed guidance on when and how to use various moves.
There is also a discord server where you can ask questions, discuss the game, and look for other players to test it out with.
The First Stream
We got a brilliant showcase of the game from the incredibly talented @stellaluna.tv and @EstelofImladris. It was a joy to see them bring their creative flair to the game. If you weren't able to make the stream, the VOD will be available on youtube soon, so keep an eye out for that in the next update.
A Call for Artists
I'm currently looking for the artists who are going to help bring the game to life. I've already had several amazing artists reach out with their portfolios and I am still accepting submissions. Remember, the more money you all help us raise, the more gorgeous art you'll see in the final game.
If you are an artist who wants to be considered, please email your portfolio and rates to [email protected] with the subject line BDtS Art. Queer artists of color will be prioritized. Please include examples any of the following with your portfolio:
