I'm very sorry for the delay with your Dusk Sport pre-order, but we've been waiting to finalize some BIG announcements. We’ve been working on a partnership that we think will be good news, and since it’s now official, I can share this info with you. First off, we have some exciting news on the business side. We’re thrilled to announce that we have partnered with our technology partner and NBA All-star Stephon Marbury to launch “Chamelo Eyewear.” Chamelo Eyewear brings together all our combined eyewear technology (and brands) together under one roof. Moving forward, Dusk Sport glasses and our Dusk™ Tint-adjustable Lenses will be sold under the Chamelo brand. Despite the significant advantages brought by our new partnership, we're still navigating some challenges with intricate features like the ambient light sensor and Huddle Mode. Regrettably, this means we won’t meet our initial summer delivery target and we are now aiming for a fall release. Complicated engineering can be challenging for a smaller company like ours—we simply don’t have the same level of resources as giants in the smart eyewear space like Apple and Meta. However, we are now seeing faster progress with the recent organizational changes, and we're optimistic that this will be the last delay. In fact, we expect to be able to set an exact delivery day in our next update. While we are dealing with a couple of challenges, we've made considerable progress in all the other key areas. The lenses have been optimized for durability and clarity, and tailored specifically for sports use. They look great and the tint range is exactly what we had hoped for. We are able to pass all the durability tests that we targeted. Full steam ahead on this front. The audio functionality has been refined and is performing well. We’ve played around with a few different options and now have two solutions that we are happy with (one that is smaller and lighter with 16 mm drivers and one bigger version with 22 mm drivers that delivers seriously premium audio quality). The overall design has been adjusted for better comfort and lighter weight. The fit is comfortable enough for everyday wear and secure enough for serious exercise. Given the fact that we have perfected enough features to make a great pair of sports sunglasses (albeit not app-enabled), we have worked with our partner to develop a simpler and lighter version that will be ready to ship this summer. We are calling this version Music Shield or Dusk Sport Lite. See pics below! Here is a little sneak peek of Music Shield.
