as a reminder, this store:
has very limited designs in stock (a few vampire, a few flying fox, & then a good amount of honduran white bat & cupid bat designs)
has a ton of ready to ship items, but if you order any items labeled "PREORDER", you wont get your order for a few months
will incur tariff fees at checkout if you're in the US
if you want to wait for more designs to be available, keep checking back over the next few weeks! I should be getting more in soon.

hey everyone! i wanted to give you guys a little update about the extra batpacks + the flying friends pre-order store.
i've just submitted for setup review for that project's survey, which means we're just a few days away from the pre-order store opening. so, if any of you are wanting to grab a batpack via the flying friends store, here's what you need to know!
i currently only have four batpack designs available -- vampire bat, cupid bat, honduran white bat, and flying fox. there's still multiple boxes waiting to be shipped to me from my fulfillment company, but i can't afford the import fees currently so we're holding off for a bit on sending the rest.
i have very limited stock of the ones i have available. so, please keep an eye out for exactly when the preorder store opens if you want the chance to snag one! i'm waiting to open the pre-order store at the same time as flying friends project surveys are sent out, in order to allow everyone a fair chance to snag one of the batpacks if they're interested.
if you want a different design, feel free to hold off for now! i'm hoping to put up some more unit quantity + more of the designs early next month.
tariff fees are currently down about 5% than they were initially. it's still a lot (28.3% vs 33.3%) but that's also something to keep in mind. this could change at any time, however.
remember, you can also wait until the series 2 project in may if you want to avoid tariff fees + don't mind waiting for a while for a restock of a popular design!

if any of you supported my flying friends pintopia project this year, you'll know that quite a few people had asked if i'd have extra batpacks available as add-ons! i didnt want to promise anything at the time, since i wasnt sure what the timeline was gonna be on me receiving extra batpacks! but, GREAT NEWS:
extra batpacks have FINALLY started to arrive!! 🦇❤️
so, what does this mean for you guys?
i would love to now offer original series batpacks as add-ons through the upcoming pre-order store for flying friends! this means that you'll be able to use the pre-order store to purchase an original series batpack even if you didn't support my pintopia campaign this year!
there IS one big catch, though: because these batpacks will be sent out to you guys from here in canada, as opposed to my stateside fulfillment company for the original batpack project, US customers will need to pay tariff fees if you order from the flying friends pre-order store.
so, if you're a customer in the US & you don't mind waiting for a bit, i'd recommend waiting and snagging an original batpack during my series 2 batpack campaign in may, which will be fulfilled by the same fulfillment company as the original campaign!
the tradeoff for this, however, is that i only plan on restocking the most popular series 1 designs in may, in order to focus on the series 2 ones -- so some of the original designs won't be available in may at all. this is all good information to keep in mind!
i also know all the fulfillment specifics can be a little confusing -- i'm sure some of you are wondering why i even had the leftover batpacks sent to me at all! the truth is that i'd love to be able to sell the batpacks wholesale & consignment wise up here and canada, and id love to bring them to conventions with me & to have them in my online store; all of that means i need to keep at least some of my stock up here in canada with me. plus, in order to offer them as add-ons during my pintopia campaigns, i need to have them here as well!
maybe in the future i'll end up consolidating things a bit more, but this is kinda where things are at for now. i hope that makes sense!
for now, the pre-order store for flying friends won't be opening for another week or so. (maybe a bit earlier, we'll see!) once it's live, i'll push another update to you guys in case you wanna snag a batpack (or anything else available in the pre-order store) -- just be prepared for those 33.3% tariff fees 😭
