Who am I? I'm Anthea Sharp - just a girl who grew up reading fairy tales and playing computer games. Oh, and dreaming of true love.
So, I started writing about all those things! My first indie-published books, the Feyland series, hit the USA Today bestseller list (twice!). I cried (twice!) Ok, maybe more than twice, lol. Since then, I've also dived into creating the Darkwood series, where swoony heroes and feisty heroines must work together to uncover hidden magic and save their realms.
In addition to penning novels (19 to date) I love writing short fiction! My short stories and novellas have won awards and been published in many anthologies, including the Valdemar collections from DAW Books (I adore writing in Mercedes Lackey's world - check out her current campaign on Backerkit right now!) and I've shared TOCs with Seanan McGuire (Hex in the City from WMG publishing) and Jane Yolen & N.K. Jemisin (Catalysts, Explorers and Secret Keepers from The Museum of Science Fiction) among many other publication credits.

Unlike some other crowdfunding platforms, shipping on Backerkit is charged after the campaign ends. This helps keep creators from over or undercharging for rewards and helps backers by giving precise shipping amounts so that you can add-on without worry and know that you'll always be charged the correct amount for your pledge items.

The international shipping costs do not include import taxes or VAT. You'll need to find out if your country imposes taxes or VAT fees on print books. If you don't usually pay these, you shouldn't with this campaign, however, you might have to pay some fees and taxes to your taxing authorities before you can receive your shipment. I'm unable to collect and remit such fees. Thanks for understanding!
I love crowdfunding books! That's the short answer. :) Interacting with backers as we work together to create beautiful books is a true joy. I love showering you with extra goodies and rewards, too. (I'm always the one who plans the stockings at Christmas, and stuffs them full of goodies - it's just my jam).
