Updates

Hi everyone!  

So a major medical situation happened to my family that took all of my attention and energy. It started in mid-December, got worse in Jan, and then hit rock bottom in Feb. It got so bad that I was afraid for my family’s lives. I had to call and text them in the morning and night to see if they were still okay. There were points where we thought we were going to have to travel the ~1,500 miles to see them and help out. Luckily it didn’t come to that.

Because of all this, I was spending every day researching stuff for my family that could possibly help. I was getting so drained from all this happening, that I started napping 2-3 times a day and basically zone out when I wasn’t doing anything for my family.

Now things seem to be calmer, I’m hoping my mental, physical, and emotional states can ease up on me so I can finally focus on what I need to do.

My fiancé did grade the Luna and Artemis pins, put them on their backing cards, and in their baggies. I’m gonna try to finish the packages that are already set up and put their cat pins in them some time this week.

I do have to try to fix the international list of items for customs because of a weird issue on my side. If it’s not fixable via Backerkit, I might have to do those through another shipping site if need be.

I tried to not let my family situation affect things, but with the way things went before Valentine’s Day was not something we’ve ever expected to happen.

Hello, everyone!

I hope everyone is safe and sound!

Starting with health stuff again. I’m on and off bedridden again, and my eyes are suffering from severe blurriness and double vision, but we don’t know yet what’s causing it. My doctor is looking into autoimmune diseases for all the issues I’m having, but I'm trying hard to not let this slow me down.

We have received both Luna and Artemis pins, which my fiancé will be quality checking for me the next coming days. Also, the remaining banners have come in recently.

I plan to have all the remaining backers’ packages mailed out by mid-Feb. Of course, I’m hoping for sooner, but that’s also dependent on the weather.

With Pintopia 2026, the Moody Kitty campaign is currently $39 USD away from the initial goal for the first 3 pins. 

I have photos of the finalized prototype for the black cat plush:

The pre-prototype bag images are here as well, but there will be some changes that are needed:

- The purple trimming will be removed from the design.
- I plan to have the stomach pocket inside the bag so the front is flat.

- Adding a handle to the top of the back of the cat’s body.

- The hardware on this bag will be silver.

- I also would like to add a middle insert to the bag that can be removed using velcro. Right now, the manufacturer has this piece attached to the back wall of the purse, where I would like to have a big pocket that can fit a Switch 2 in.

Hello everyone, 

Starting with some personal news. I was pretty much bedridden for all of last month for various reasons. I’m still dealing with some of it, and I have a doctor's appointment on the 13th.  Hopefully, we can figure out what’s going on.

Now in shipping news, while I was packing, I ran into an issue… I was running out of Luna and Artemis pins, so I had to order more, and I'm still waiting for them to be shipped. Then I encountered a banner issue; I was off by one, and I had sworn I had enough for all the banner orders. I am currently ordering more of those as well.

Also, I just found out that I need to push the email notifications for tracking numbers, so I just sent them out. If you have not received one, I haven’t shipped out your package yet. I’m still waiting on the two cat pins and the night banners to complete the rest of the orders.

Hi, everyone,

We are planning to get another load of packages shipped out during the week.  We’re trying to be careful not to overload our post office with too many packages at once.

Our Holiday Market, Whiskers & Wonders, has less than 48 hrs left. We don’t know when we’ll have these discounts again, so hurry before time runs out.

Then, for our Pintopia 2026 launch party, we have another poll going on to help narrow down the expressions our kitties will have.

Hi, everyone!

We’ve started shipping packages. I’m hoping this week we’ll be able to do another drop-off or two at the post office. We’re packing as much as we can in between buying postage, but we do have limited space in my office, so it’ll take some time.

We recently got the package of the remaining Moon pins, but haven’t done a quality check yet.

After talking it over with my fiancé, I have redesigned parts of the pin felt board frame, with the stand being a cloud and a star at the top to keep the top closed. I also got two color samples of the felt: purple-pink and dark purple. I’m having a hard time picking which to use with the purple filament.

I have also joined the Holiday Market, where we sell merch from previous campaigns (I’m not adding the sailor senshi terrariums) and in-stock items. I will have my angry calico wristlet, Sunberry (cat-moth hybrid) and Biskie (cookie butter fennec fox) enamel pins, some stickers, and more in my market.  These items will either be on sale, so they will be less than their listings on my Etsy shop or at their previous campaign reward prices.

I’ll be part of Pintopia again next year in January with a moody kitty theme. It’ll have pins, ita bags, and plushies. I’m thinking of making a felt board frame of a cat head for the campaign, but not sure on the color(s) or what the base should be. The color(s) would determine what felt colors I’ll be ordering.

I’d like to make a short update on my health. I’ll need surgery on my leg, but I’m trying to push it off until after Pintopia, so it doesn’t affect anything for the Holiday Market or this upcoming Pintopia. There is always the possibility that things won't align properly time-wise, though, so I'll keep everyone posted.
