This book is near and dear to my heart for a number of reasons. I started writing it during the Covid lockdown, and it was an excellent way for me to stay connected with my best friend (and co-writer) during a really scary time in our lives. At that time I was also planning my own wedding! So you should definitely expect some very authentic anxiety shown throughout the wedding planning scenes. Haha! B&DR has also given me an opportunity to collaborate with the amazingly talented Melissa Capriglione. We've worked together on small pieces, but nothing of this magnitude, and I cannot stress how hecking sweet the book is turning out.
