This is going to sound pedantic, and I don't mean it badly, because I think it's gorgeous, but it reads a bit more cougar than bobcat. It's a gorgeous pin either way.
I agree, the bobcat looks like a cougar to me, as well. It's a beautiful pin--and I don't say this lightly because I know it takes a lot to design a piece of art like this--but I feel like a redesign or relabeling would help to bring it more in line with what you meant it to be.
I agree. Maybe it can be renamed so it's not lost. But I also know animals are called different things in different regions. In NJ, our Bobcats are part of the lynx family. Mountain lions are called cougars or pumas in other places. We call our bears just bears even though they're black bears officially.
