Once again, thank you all very, very much for your support for "The Same Sky - the graphic novel"!
As you all know, the campaign has ended, and most of your pledges should have been collected over the past few days (if not, expect it to happen soon). But what does this mean for the timetable of this project?

Timeline
The current version of the comic is mobile first. This means that all chapters are essentially one really long vertical file, and so, for a physical release, this means that restructuring is necessary. However, I have created the chapters with this future reformatting in mind, so all drawings can be moved and resized as needed. This does not mean that it will be a quick process though; I expect this to take a couple of months, especially as there'll always be unexpected edits.

Currently, the timeline prognosis is that it will take 3-4 months to completely reformat the comic and have it checked for readability. Afterwards, the proofs will be ordered, and depending on the amount of reworks needed, the actual prints should be printed shortly after. I will keep all of you updated on the progress of this work on a (roughly) monthly basis!

When to expect my pledges?
I plan to send out all rewards, both physical and digital, as soon as I send out the actual prints. This to optimise the shipping costs and make sure that no one has to pay twice. Additionally, the digital file of the book will also only exist as soon as it is ready for printing. This means that you can expect all of your rewards somewhere in the spring of next year - but as mentioned above, I will do my best to keep you all updated so that you can get a more specific timeline as the dates draw closer.
