Collaboration makes everything more fun.

Greetings Adventurers New and Old,

If you haven't met me before, I am Cecil the Wizard. 🧙‍♂️ Although, perhaps this time I should introduce myself as Cecil the Astronaut! After spending some time partying with the Phoenix King and helping my cousin Jane wrangle some Owlbears, I've decided its high time for a new adventure into the stars.

Phoebe (the Moon Phoenix), Rancher Jane, and I have been hard at work to build a spaceship that will take us on a wonderful exploration of your solar system. We've also discovered that each of your planets is protected by a powerful phoenix guardian. We've resolved to meet them all!

As always, though, that's where you come in! We need help getting all of our supplies ready for the trip. Help us reach the stars and meet all of the wonderful phoenix guardians. As they bestow some of their magic on us, we'll make sure to send some back to you as shiny hard-enamel pins.

We're excited to learn about the stars and explore them with you!

Back the campaign in the first 48 hours and you'll get a 1.5-inch Mars Rover Pin added to your pledge. This pin is a design of the Perseverance Rover (a.k.a. Percy) that is searching for signs of life on Mars.

As a special thank you, all returning backers from our previous campaigns will receive a free, 2-Inch "Cecil Across the Stars" Pin.

Backerkit is a crowdfunding site like IndieGoGo or Kickstarter. Pledge your support to the Phoenix Planetarium to unlock awesome planetary phoenix pins as a reward! The initial funding goal is $2,500 to unlock all of the phoenixes, and you won't be charged until the end of the campaign. You also won't be charged if we don't hit our funding goal.

After we fund, we'll keep you up to date on production of the pins, and we'll ship them out to every backer. PLUS! If we over fund, there may a few extra special stretch goals that we throw in, too. Stickers, bookmarks, and more!

You can adjust your pledge at any time during the campaign. After it ends, you’ll receive a survey to select your chosen Phoenix designs and finalize shipping costs. Shipping will be paid separately through the survey process, and you can even pick up additional add-ons if you like!

Also, if you plan on backing at a pledge level above $150, you can opt to use Backerkit's pay overtime feature. This will let you spread out pledge payments across a few months rather than all at once. It can be helpful especially if you're backing a lot of projects at once!

Enamel pins can take a while to produce, but we've luckily done some preparation work ahead of time. We currently work with two manufacturers, both of which we've tested out on previous projects. So far, we've produced about 4,000 enamel pins and counting.

Late January: Campaign Launch!
February: Campaign Ends!
Late February: Surveys go out!
March: Production Begins!
April: Production Ends!
May: Pins are shipped out!

We're looking to have a fast turnaround time, but delays can happen. We want to make sure we deliver a solid looking pin to you. We will do our best to ensure we are communicating throughout the entire process as the pins get made and as shipping begins.

At Attic Door Media, we love creating magical worlds and telling immersive stories for comics, prose, and all kinds of formats. We are creators from Florida, working to build a community of storytellers who love to learn, grow, and create together, no matter the medium. This is our 6th campaign with Backerkit and our fifth pin campaign. Our second was Pintopia 2025. (Hey! Look at that, we're back!)

Thanks to everyone who shared their unboxings with us!
