It costed more due to having to... RESTOCK GLORP!! We gotten Glorp in AUGUST 2025 and had around only 3 cons and some online sales with them and we were WIPED!
We are ordering a restock, new prototype ((don't worry its going to look as close but as fresh as the others)) and safety testing to ensure that glorps can be safe for you! But with this restock and what came with it bumped it up a few thousand ((haaaaaaahaaaaa))
We used EVERY BIT that we made from MOTORCITY FURCON to make this possible. So THANK YOU for the support we literally could NOT of done this without our last minute Dealers Den Table!
Pins will be our next priority, as we will have them be in the same order as the cryptid pins as well to make these orders shipping costs lowered. We have a quote already for all of the pins, and their proper spec sheets so putting them into production will be easier.. I may refine the artwork on some if it is possible ((mainly I'm thinking of Terra's universe design to match with my current style.. but we'll see)).
This was a SPLIT PAYMENT, we have 3 EVENTS lined up for April so as long as they do well there is NO ISSUE in terms of paying for the second half. We were not able to get any loans, but like we said no matter what we were going to make this possible. There are a total of 1200 plush being made and shipping will take over a month to reach me (by sea as this was the lowest cost option).

It was QUITE a shock! We have officially made enough to make an order after the Chinese new year! We are super excited to finally start production on the plush and hope that you are just as excited as we are! There will be over 1000 plush in total! so production and shipment will take quite sometime!

We will be getting a NEW glorp sample and going with our new manu, as it will be more cost effective. Though this will mean a new sample and testing fee, Glorp has been a fave! And has been worth getting a full restock and will join the jellystars crew in the shipment!

CONVENTION APPEARANCE I was going to be attending anyways in Artist Alley, but I got an booth upgrade to be in the dealers, so I'll have a full table at MCFC, My first ever time at my Home State Furry Con! I'll be accepting Commissions, and have merch of course haha.

Now what does this mean?
Let me Explain
We vend at conventions, thats were a lot of the funds we had come from, doing these backerkits is a fairly new thing for us, especially this past year we have been very very thankful for the patience and understanding with everyone with the bumps in the road as myself (Baja) is disabled and cannot do much physically and with my partner in crime (Hp)'s limited time its hard to get the time aside packing done. We are in the future depending on campaign success will be turning to fulfillment services to ensure that you will get your backer rewards in an timely manner.
I'm getting a bit off track, there are conventions in winter but its for the most part the end of prime convention season, we lacked conventions for 3 months, and was betting it all on Midwest Furfest 2025. Which was our first MFF, which was a very good experience but with issues with logistics of vendor to attendee ratio and other factors outside of our control many vendors were affected including us loosing a lot in sales as this is one of the largest furcons in the US. Being it relatively closer to us (we drove) and stayed somewhere relatively cheap. We thought we would make an healthy amount after the quote was given to us.. Unfortunately it wasn't the case, we didn't make baseline it was pretty bad like I said it hit practically all the vendors no matter how popular people were collectively all sales were hit some peoples 1/3 of income relies on this convention and didnt break that so thats how bad it was. TO BE CLEAR WE ARE NOT UPSET AT ANYONE OR ANY CONVENTION/CONVENTION LEADERSHIP, we are just bummed out because we hoped that this would've covered everything. We kept getting denied/waitlisted for conventions, which is a normal thing for pretty much all vendors especially since so many apply now compared pre-covid which is awesome that more are joining in <3 I started July of 2019.. so.. yeah.. But this caused issue of income for the manufacturing. I still have been getting merch items for the campaign when I'm able, like the plush buttons,UFO Pin banner,the stickers, stickersheets, carabiners (manu made tiny ones so i had reorder big ones that are shipping to me right now so i dont what to do with tiny ones now ). So there is progress going on just the big ticket items (plush/pins) are the ones caught up in the mess.
The enamel pins I have a quote on, the spec sheets are made for all of them, I just need to put half down. I wanted to prioritize Plush Production first and then the pins because I know the pins are much more manageable to afford and that I have a longer relationship of beyond 5 years with my current rep.
We've tried loan after loans "pre-approved" to be just rejected or rude people on the phone threatening my partner with LITERAL aggression of lowering his creditscore if he couldnt answer the full phone call while at his manual labor job... Its been painful months and letters and paperwork.. And we dealt with 1K of car repairs and some medical bills which.. you all helped with because of the go fund me and we cant thank you all enough. We are still -$400 or so but we been trying our best to get back on our feet.
NOW what is good about this??????
Scroll back up to that convention appearance.. How did that happen? Well I was originally was going to be in the artist alley which.. had a lot of interesting restrictions but I was suddenly taken off the waitlist a few days ago!
Instead of a half table for a half a day sale, we get 6 feet of table all weekend with the appropriate height restrictions! We can also go home and replenish stock and not just have whats in our suitcases!
Getting into Motorcity Furcon's Dealers hall... -We are NOT paying for a hotel or extensive gas - Parking Garage has in and out privileges ((so we can get lunch elsewhere to lower costs))
Our overhead is Table cost and 2 badges.. WHICH IS REALLY GOOD!!
- We will make enough to start production, we have a fallback last resort but no matter what. I've been stressing about production of these plush.
I've been so upset, tense, I want this to be in production, I want to fulfill everything we have. I WISH i had more updates to give!
I REALLY AM GOING TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE!! even if it means to take drastic measures

The plush quote.. included the werewolves and I did'nt realize that at ALL.. I got the sample made but my rep.. put him in the bulk pricing pricing and never removed them so I know exactly how much wolves will cost. I will have to make another sample or two if we get to nightcrawler and safety testing for both designs. But we may have funds to combine the pin & plush orders for both campaigns at once.
oh god the boxes of aliens and cryptids in my house.. (jk) This will save shipping funds, and production money by producing all at once. If this is possible it may take longer but will be more cost effective.
This may be determined by the Pre-order store for Crytpid critters (which will have jellystar plush available and ALIEN plush goal of (40) (so will all other not unlocked cryptid plush goals)
Sorry for the rambling and scrambling I've been awake pretty stressed since 2am its almost 7am.
I just deeply wanted to THANK YOU EVERYONE ESPEICALLY YOU BACKERS for this mess, I'm still new to all of this plush production, backerkit and Now that I know to raise the goals (i feel so bad doing that tbh) so we dont have this mess again. - Quoted on everything it knocked 3k off removing the aliens Can pay partially, Sadly we cant seem to get a loan over 4.2k which is far from what we need, We are trying our best to make it possible. We may do a partial payment and see how that may go, Shipping and end of production would be the 2nd half of the payment once plush are done/completed which gives us some time to raise more funds. We are working our hardest to find loans that will be fair enough for us and interest not biting us in the behinds. I will be talking to HP soon (hes handling the loan) on the progress of searching for a loan that may benefit us the most and we will start that partial payment process so the plush are in production. - We will also need to re-order glorps which in total will be an additional 1.4k (shipping included).. we'll see what can be done about this. ((Glorps were made with a past manu so we know the estimates) - For those who haven't followed us, we hit a huge set of bills IRL, From $460 medical, $930 sudden tax to a 1k car repair. This has hit us greatly, You guys have really helped us during this time. While we are still raising funds we are thankful for all of the shop sales. As they are helping with this campaigns fulfillment. We apologize for this delay as this hit us in the span of less then 2 weeks. - But we have been ordering with what we have other perks/rewards that are lower cost.

I know this isnt the update anyone wanted to read, we are trying our best, tariffs really hit us hard with this and we are trying our best to really make this work. We have a last resort but we are going to try our hardest to work with what we got.
Let's get the bad out of the way, Tariffs have unfortunately made the plush costs gone up so siginifcantly that we have to raise over $8K to get the plush.
We had to make a lot of large last min purchases to have original stock for MFF, prices of the plush shot up but we have the final totals for all of the plush now. Both Mixture of my own fault & Tariffs that affected this.
Our manu is making sure that numbers are exact and correct eariler in the process so this doesn't happen again!
THAT IS NOT STOPPING US!!

to help sort this out, but to make it low as we could
ALIEN ORDERS ARE CANCELLED, there were only 9 orders for the alien plush (pins,plushbuttons,etc are safe) We will try to revive them in our Cryptid Plush Campaign next month. We have the total it will take to make them now, so it will be easier to process how the unlock will work
NO OTHER ORDERS will be affected, so we will be processing Refunds for the Alien Plush

Color differences were due to the limited colors that are available for fluffy fabric of plush of this size! The darkest purple is what is milkyway pups body color was
If we decide to go back to these characters in a larger size their colors will be adjusted to more accurate colors

We have quotes for them and hope to combine them with our MonsterMash Campaign pins So we can ship out pins earlier if you just ordered pins.
We deeply apologize for this bump but we are fully determined to make things work, and plans in place to ensure this doesn't happen again
