Absolutely! Although this is our first project on Backerkit, it's actually our sixth crowdfunding project. All of our previous crowdfunding projects (launched on Kickstarter) succeeded, and we've already completed the fulfillment for the first four (The Baroque Tarot, The Naked Truth Tarot, The Baroque Tarot - Deluxe Edition, and The Chibi Tarot) (and our backers have been super happy with them, as you can see from online reviews and comments on Kickstarter), while the fifth (The Lady Pirates Tarot) is currently being manufactured. All that to say that there's little risk associated with this project, and it mainly relates to external factors (none of us saw the 2020 pandemic coming, right?).

The deck will feature 350 GSM art paper. If (or rather, when) we reach $60k in funding, we'll upgrade to 330 GSM German blackcore cardstock.

All of our previous customers and backers have loved linen finish, so we're going with that for this deck as well.

Absolutely. The companion book will feature entries for both the old and new versions of the edited cards, so you can (and should) get a copy even if you're not planning to grab the Midnight Edition.

As you know, the situation's still volatile, and no one knows for sure how the whole tariffs situation is going to play out. Nevertheless, we're doing everything in our power to establish a logistics system that ensures fair shipping prices no matter where you are, just like we've done in our previous projects. No matter what, we won't simply push any extra costs on you.

The Midnight Edition will be the second and final edition of The Naked Truth Tarot. We believe in creating art that manifests our visions rather than treating our projects as ongoing revenue streams. This edition was born from an evolution in the creator's vision and in response to thoughtful community feedback—something we deeply value. With these refinements complete, we consider The Naked Truth Tarot's journey to be fulfilled, with no further editions planned.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
