Time for a look at another faction, this time the twisted remains of the brave souls sent out to terraform worlds on behalf of HumanityFleet, now calling themselves New Genesis.
This faction was one of the trickier ones to get right, but I'm really happy with their final iteration.
Using BioFusion to build their MACs means they move more organically than the hulking machines of other factions, but their more fragile anatomy can lead to chain reactions when hit.
Their special Spine modules are much simpler to understand. Stick them on your units and ram into the enemy. Especially useful when combined with their added manoeuvrability.
It's time for another faction sneak peak for MAC Attack, this time the strange intelligence that grew from the HumanityFleet Data Administration - now Torchbearer Archive.
Their Adaptive Architecture means their MACs grow ever more dangerous as their secondary systems are destroyed, but this comes with added Heat costs that could backfire.
They also have access to the Mindhive module, letting them coordinate their manoeuvres with uncanny, but unpredictable, awareness.
This is one of ten factions detailed in the book, and they're balanced in such a way that they can play against vanilla forces without any innate advantage.
Just a quick update to say thank you for backing the game in the first 24 hours, we're well past funded and heading in a really promising direction.
By request I also wanted to share one of the faction spreads from the full game.
The Elder Circle were the mission command of the doomed HumanityFleet, now clinging to some sort of control over the splintered humanity.
Each of the 10 factions in the game gets a similar spread. I especially like how the little quotes on each spread hint at the history and relationships between each faction.
Be sure to share the project link around if you can, and thank you again.
