On Monday, Jan 5th our shipping of orders resumed and our fulfillment person is working hard all this week to mail every outstanding order.
If you received a shipping label notice in December and are wondering what's up, have no fear! Sara printed labels for as many packages as possible before the holidays, so they'd be ready and she could hit the ground running after the break. Those packages will be shipped soon.

The cut-off for shipping orders was going to be December 12th, resuming soon after New Year's Eve, however when we learned the rest (the majority!) of the BH&BA shipment was arriving on Monday, December 15th we decided to squeeze in some more shipping so as many people as possible could get their copies sooner.
When your order is shipped you will get an email with a tracking number. If you haven't received such an email by this time tomorrow, then that means yours is among the orders we've decided to hold on to until shortly after New Year's Eve so as to avoid the risk of packages being lost in the near-Christmas madness.
Either way, it won't be long now before everybody has their copies of the book. Huzzah!

Fulfillment for everything we have received so far begins Monday, including digital formats, and we can only send books out to backers who've completed the survey.

On Monday we will begin fulfilling the pledges we can with the books that have arrived so far, which include: All of Sometime Lofty Towers, all NESS 2025 softcovers (remaining hardcovers arrive Wednesday), and about half out shipment of BH&BA paperbacks.

UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS THE FIRST TIME EVER BACKERKIT HAS TRIED MERGING CROWDFUNDS AND THERE ARE TWO HICCUPS
PHYSICAL BACKER SHIPPING ISSUE: Some people are being told the maximum possible shipping instead of the correct shipping. One backer had this problem as part of the earlier test, and he says he just clicked through to step four and it resolved itself.

DIGITAL BACKER SHIPPING ISSUE: Some digital only pledges are being asked to pay for shipping. This is because a kink has caused digital only pledges to still have physical crowdfund rewards like early backer postcards attached. Turns out we can't fix this ourselves, but Backerit tell us it'll be resolved by end of day - which for them is 5pm PST, or 8pm EST etc. Just hang tight and come back to your survey later today.
Books for all three campaigns are either arrived (Sometime Lofty Towers) or arriving soon (NESS 2025 and Beating Hearts & Battle-Axes). Due to how delayed BH&BA has been already, our fulfillment person has been instructed to ship orders containing this book first, ahead of all others.
If all goes according to plan we hope to begin fulfillment in the second week of December. While we hope this won't be the case, any significant delay will be announced with an update.
As mentioned in the last update, this was the bottleneck we were held up at for so long. Layout across all three formats was already begun when we reached this point, and is moving swiftly.
We are aiming for a release in late November.
That does two things - it gives us time to do backer surveys, which will go out in the near future, and it gives us time to work with Backerkit to merge orders across this crowdfund and two others (New Edge Sword & Sorcery 2025 and Sometime Lofty Towers) that many of you also backed. Thus we can save those who backed multiple projects a healthy chunk on shipping by putting everything together in one package!
Our very next update will be when I have proofs of the soft and hardcover in my hands that I can share pictures of. Your continued patience has always been appreciated. I'm rather happy now that, knock on wood, the narrative of this project can begin to shift from awful health issues & delays to wonderful stories and a brand new book for you to read!
