Advance Copy Pictures!
Hurray! As far as we know everything is still on track with our printers so that we'll be able to begin shipping everyone their books some time in late April.

Thank you so much. It feels marvelous to let ourselves imagine holding this hot little book in our hands.
And we need just 16 more backers to unlock Bryn Hammond's bonus poetry. Heck at 85% of the way, it's not outlandish to think we'll unlock spray color edges!
Meanwhile all one hundred of our planned hardcovers have been claimed. We're going to talk to the printer about raising the print run, but probably only to 125 or so. The crowdfund definitely remains the time to grab one.
Alright, the campaign ends at noon EST this Saturday. Let's see how far we can take this caravan!

Artyom Takhanov has returned with a bold new cover...
...as has Goran Gligović!
Simon Underwood will return to create a new original interior illustration.
Linnea Sterte will return to create a new original interior illustration.
Featuring the same creative teams as each half of DESS, new stand-alone novellas have been written and are currently being crowdfunded as part of NEW EDGE SWORD & SORCERY NOVELLAS!
Thank you all so much for helping make our first book a reality!
The paper, the size, the spray color edges, the hardcovers in paperback dimensions with bookmark ribbons, the DOUBLE NOVELLA of it all, and of course the wonderful stories & art...from tip to tail, this is the book we wanted to make and make it we have.
This feels great!
Meanwhile Dariel and Bryn are hard at work on new novellas starring Orhan and Goatskin respectively. If all goes according to plan we'll be able to show you some exciting cover art for their separate, individual second volumes later this year.

So today we've sent out a zip file called "DESS Complete Files" which contains the correct files for the book, as well as a second document containing our crowdfund exclusives (Bryn's four poems and Dariel's bonus Orhan short story!).
Both the book and the exclusives come in all three digital formats (ePub, PDF, and MOBI).
If you've already started reading, don't worry. The body text was finalized by the ARC stage, so the main differences in the final files have to do with presentation and - of course - removing the text in the front matter about it being an advanced review copy.
Okay, our next update will be about the books having arrived in Chicago! This, we swear.
