Project Update: 100% FUNDED: Onward to poetry and spray color edges!
HUZZAH, YOU GOT US THERE!
Thank you so much. It feels marvelous to let ourselves imagine holding this hot little book in our hands.
And we need just 16 more backers to unlock Bryn Hammond's bonus poetry. Heck at 85% of the way, it's not outlandish to think we'll unlock spray color edges!
Meanwhile all one hundred of our planned hardcovers have been claimed. We're going to talk to the printer about raising the print run, but probably only to 125 or so. The crowdfund definitely remains the time to grab one.
Alright, the campaign ends at noon EST this Saturday. Let's see how far we can take this caravan!
AUTHORS: Anybody, living or dead. They can even be writing someone else's character (ex. Robert E. Howard writing Elric).
CHARACTERS: Anybody.
BONUS: Who'd do the cover art for each side?
Project Update: Backer Surveys Have Gone Out
Backerkit Surveys for Double-Edged Sword & Sorcery went out today!
- Paying shipping. (Vital!)
- Updating or confirming your mailing address.
- Updating or confirming your payment information.
- Last minute additions of Add-On goodies to your order .
So please check your spam folders if you haven't seen your own survey, and let us know if something has gone missing.
IMPORTANT: If you are a digital backer wanting to upgrade to physical formats, Backerkit will briefly show shipping as being the maximum possible rate because it won't know where you are ordering from until you put in your address. Once you've done that, the shipping cost will adjust appropriately.
Apropos of nothing, here are some lovely new photos of the book!
Sincerely,
Project Update: Advance Copy Pictures!
Meanwhile you may be interested to know that our crowdfund for this year's issues of New Edge Sword & Sorcery is in it's final hours, nay minutes! Check it out here: https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/brackenbooks/new-edge-sword-sorcery-2025

Hi I am a digital pledge. This pledge drive was fulfilled last October I believe. I understand that the content of the books has been done for awhile and that you are waiting on a few things regarding the printed book. But, shouldn't digital pledges be able to get the ebooks now? Perhaps an email/survey was sent out all ready? Did I miss something, because I have not received any notice.
