For whatever reason, our pallets of Zhenya's Wonder Tales took a very long time to move from the New York port to our warehouse in Minnesota. It took almost as long as it did to cross the ocean!
But at long last, our games have arrived!
Shipping Starts Tomorrow!
We're pleased to be able to say that now that we have the games in hand, the warehouse team has already begun sorting out the boxes and materials to begin shipping them out to you. You can expect to see a shipping notification email probably within the next week.
If you don't get the email, feel free to reach out to us and we'll follow up and make sure that everything is moving.
We're very excited for you all to get this game in your hands and we hope you'll show us your unboxings and let us know how it goes when you play it!
We've been keeping our eyes on the tracking sites for container ship TITAN as came across the Pacific, through the Panama Canal, and up the East Coast. We're pleased to say that it will arrive in NYC on schedule tomorrow!
After it arrives, the cartons of games will be loaded onto ground transport and sent to our partner warehouse in Minnesota. The weather may slow things down, but we expect them to arrive in a week or so.
Shipping Starts in February
We've locked shipping addresses and sent them to the warehouse team, so as soon as Zhenya's arrives at their loading dock they should begin to pack and send your shipments back out over the following weeks. You'll get emails with tracking information, but please feel free to reach out to us if the shipments seem to be taking a long time.
Digital Editions in Your Inbox
Now that the orders are all locked, we're sending out emails with distribution links for all the PDFs included with your orders. Those will be downloadable from Backerkit directly, but if you have any trouble with the files, let us know.
We got word just before the holidays started that Zhenya's left the factory and is now underway aboard the container ship TITAN/1337-041E. The ship is currently on it's way to the Panama Canal and is estimated to arrive in New York City at the end of January.
From New York our cargo will be loaded onto ground transport headed to our partner warehouse in Minnesota, arriving in early to mid-February.
This is all a bit later than we expected, but that seems to be the trend. In any case, as soon as the warehouse sorts it out, shipments will start going out to all of you at that time, likely in late February.
Most of you have already filled out your surveys which is fantastic. We plan to lock the surveys and pre-orders on January 9th and charge cards shortly after that so that we can start preparing everything for shipping as soon as the games arrive.
If you're among the few who hasn't filled out the survey, or if you need to make any adjustments to your shipping address, please do it before January 9th!

Quinn's Quest!
We were excited to see that Quinns Quest reviewed Desperation last week, along with other great boxed games from our fellow designers that we love. If you haven't seen it yet, you should check it out!
He also mentions his excitement for Zhenya's Wonder Tales at the end, with some particular... enthusiasm for the Bear Lovers tale. We hope it satisfies his expectations!
Printing and Freight Update
We've signed off on the final print proof and we're finalizing payment arrangements so that Panda can get the games into shipping containers and on their way to us here. More details when we have them!
At long last, Zhenya's Wonder Tales is almost here! We appreciate your patience over this long year as we've been putting the game together.
Pledge Management Surveys
We have confirmation from the printer that the games are finishing up and will be headed to the port in early December, for arrival here at our warehouse in mid-January. With that in mind the wait is over, and pledge surveys will go out this week! Keep an eye on your email for that invitation.
Pre-Orders for European Friends
In addition, for those that missed the original campaign last year, or for our friends in Europe who weren't able to pledge because of the shipping restrictions we had in place, our pre-order store is now open and accepting orders from Europe!
We'll finalize all orders and charge cards in early January 2026. We expect to be able to start shipping out games in early February.
