We are very eager for you to start playing and interacting with the Mind's Eye Theatre: Enemies of Darkness and Laws of the Hunt as soon as possible! Once the PDF recieves final approvals, we'll deliver it to you via BackerKit and your ByNightStudios store account!

By Night Studios will be shipping out most add-on products with the books as soon as they arrive from the printers. The PDFS will be sent out before the books. All physical add-ons/stretch goals will be shipped with the physical book(s) once those are packaged up and ready for shipping. There is one exception- the LEDs will ship directly from the manufacturer and we begin shipping those within 2 weeks of the end of the campaign/ your card being charged in full, which ever comes later.

Our crowdfunding campaign will end on 4/4/2025 at 11:59 PM PST.

We do have a "Super Fan" Add On available to any games store, larp troupe or others, but if you are wanting a custom bulk order of Laws of the Night books or our awesome merch, please contact [email protected] and we can talk. We do offer a wholesale discount!

Please note that not all artwork is finalized. We are working hard on ensuring that what you see is what you get. However, some items may require additional changes past the start of the Backerkit launch.

The softcover is a pocket edition (same size as the Laws of the Night pocket edition), great for bringing to your larp game or carrying on public transport. The hardcover is a deluxe edition with extra art and is the standard 8.5x11 book size. The text layout will also be more speciaous and easier to read. The text/ powers/ fluff is the same in both versions.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

• You are charged only if the campaign meets its funding goal.
• Charges happen when the campaign ends, not when you pledge.

After the campaign ends, you'll receive a survey to pay for any applicable shipping fees, calculated based on your shipping address.

Pay Over Time allows you to split your pledge into multiple payments over a set period. Your card will be charged according to the payment schedule (four monthly payments). Only available for projects that enable this feature. Learn More »

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
