3 Months Later - Following Up
Hello All, Sean here!
It has been just over three months since our debut album, Knight & Day, released on May 1st! We are incredibly proud of how this album has turned out, and we hope you are all enjoying what we've made.
I wanted to send a personal update regarding fulfillment of the Backerkit and the delays some of you have experienced. If you want more information about the nature of this personal update and the reasons for these delays, read below.
But, I wanted to primarily update you that I have resent surveys, and NEED you to please complete these so I can complete fulfillment through Backerkit. Otherwise, I need to do a massive snail-crawl through emails and pay for a ton of postage on my own to complete fulfillment. So please, if you have not completed the survey, please do so at your earliest convenience - they've been resent, so if you don't see them, please check your spam.

Now, for more information about the delays:
In full transparency, right as the album was released, I went through a series of massive life changes - I do not want to share any more details than necessary, but to be concise and to the point - I became divorced, and had to move last minute to aid in the separation. All is amicable, and as smooth as it could have been - but this doesn't change how difficult this process has been.
In conjunction, I had multiple performances and engagements that stole away much of my time and attention. Only now have things finally begun to slow, in no small part due to things being in flux in other bandmates' lives as well, but I will not share their details here.
I also became far more consumed with work, as summers are especially difficult for music teachers (my primary career), and as such, emailed and hustled daily to make sure I had enough work to keep me going through the summer, and to recoup the fact that I and my ex-roommates did not receive our security deposit. Suffice to say, it's been a financially difficult time, too.
These financial weights are compounded with the fact that I made a mistake calculating the costs for us to print t-shirts and pay for our musicians and collaborators. I ended up having to cover a significant portion of those costs out of pocket. This is fully my fault for not 1.) being more organized with regards to awareness of the time spent recording with our collaborators, and 2.) the lack of foresight and proper calculation on the planning side of things.
None of this is an excuse for these delays. There are plenty of other things that have delayed my ability to follow up with each and every one of you with regards to fulfillment as well, but I don't mean for this to necessarily act as an exhaustive list - more so a vulnerable, but overall necessary, act of transparency. I ask sincerely for understanding and patience, as I am now working to finish fulfillment for each and every one of you, and apologize I could not find the strength to complete all of this work sooner.
More importantly, I hope this situation has not overly soured your relationship with our music - we care so much about the work we have put in to the album, and I don't want any of that to be in vain. Everyone involved is incredibly talented and deserves so much support and further opportunities.

I ended up having to cover a significant portion of those costs out of pocket. None of this is an excuse for these delays. There are plenty of other things that have delayed my ability to follow up with each and every one of you with regards to fulfillment as well, but I don't mean for this to necessarily act as an exhaustive list - more so a vulnerable, but overall necessary, act of transparency. I ask sincerely for understanding and patience, as I am now working to finish fulfillment for each and every one of you, and apologize I could not find the strength to complete all of this work sooner.
More importantly, I hope this situation has not overly soured your relationship with our music - we care so much about the work we have put in to the album, and I don't want any of that to be in vain. Everyone involved is incredibly talented and deserves so much support and further opportunities.

Post Campaign Update 6 - Reaching Out and Second Single Early Listen!
Hello wonderful backers!
Thanks again so much for your patience while we've worked through fulfilling your rewards! There is a significant contingent of people who have not filled out the survey, and we need this in order to determine shirt sizes and whether to ship or do local pickup!
During the next few weeks, we will be reaching out to each of you individually so we can fill out the surveys for you, and get your rewards out to you!
In the meantime, North, our second single, is going to be released a week from today! However, I figured it would be a nice bonus for you all to get an early first listen before the rest of the world, so you can find the track attached here, exclusively for you!

Hello Wonderful Backers!
Shipping has been slowly progressing, as I continue to get the requisite shipping materials put together for everyone. We are so glad to hear many of you enjoying the shirts! We may reach out to some of you who still haven't filled out a survey to figure out how to get your rewards to you.
In the meantime - our first single from the Album just released today! Take a listen to it on the streaming platform of your choice, or directly from our Bandcamp. We will be allowing downloads for everyone who has claimed the digital download once the full album is available.

Post Campaign Update 4 - Shipping starting after February 28th
Hello all!
We wanted to share a quick update that our shipping settings are currently under review, but that we will be able to start shipping out orders after This Saturday, February 28th!
We have also added an option for local pickup in the East Bay/San Francisco!
For those who already filled out the survey, you will be receiving a message separately with instructions on how to update your order to be delivered using local pickup.
Lastly, the Tiger Creek EP is being finalized and will also be sent out this weekend!
Thanks as always for the continued patience! In the meantime, our first two singles are shaping up to be ready for mastering, and we can soon get them put into the release pipeline - we SO look forward to sharing these songs with you all!

I wanted to express my gratitude for your continued patience while we have been organizing pledge rewards in the background. We have some updates to share!
First, thank you to everyone who has filled out the survey! We will be locking orders by Wednesday, February 18th.

Post Campaign Update 2 - Physical Rewards going out soon, and updates!
Hello everyone! We hope you've had a wonderful holiday season!
We wanted to update everyone on the progress of the album and reward for all of our backers!
To start - we are looking at finishing our first round of mixing! We are hoping that by the end of the month we will be ready to send our album off to get mastered, and start releasing a few singles! We are SO excited, as the album is truly coming together in a beautiful way.
Next up - our physical rewards are nearing completion! Our shirts have just arrived, and look amazing! We can't wait to get these and everything else into your hands. All that's left is securing the monogram patches.
The most important thing - we are sending out surveys to confirm t-shirt size, as well as offer you the opportunity to add-on other items not already included at your pledge level. Any extra funds made from this will be going towards creating a physical release of this album. We ask that you finish these surveys as soon as you can so we can put together the deliveries.
For our digital rewards, we are reviewing the recordings for the Tiger Creek EP, and will be hopefully finished putting it all together before the end of this month.
We thank all of you for your patience while we complete putting everything together for you - and are so excited for you to hear more soon from the Album!
