I'm Adie and I've been running cathead since 2018. Mainly doing enamel pins, stickers, keychains, and other small production goods, around 2019/2020 I branched into more home goods. First by getting into selling my custom designed wallets, then bags, and now I'm branching into jewelry.
As an avid nose ring wearer I'm always looking out for eye catchy clickers that are also hypoallergenic for my aggressive allergies to metals. I've had my septum pierced since 2015. 
Today I'm joining up forces with MidnightxSprings to make new nose ring designs. Summerween for the spooky summer goths.

Midnight Springs (est 2015) has been making hypoallergenic nose rings for several years now.

Midnight Springs is also a jewelry and clothing designer, and pin and sticker artist (amongst other things). Midnight is currently also developing a zombie-horror Visual Novel otome game. Midnight is one of my best friends so i'm so excited to be doing this project with her! I've been wearing her nose rings for years and they're my absolute favorite to wear. So gothy and I don't have to worry about having an allergic reaction!

Pictured below is the cherry blossom faux ring 1st samples (shape not final) and cat paw necklace designed by Midnight Springs; this is to show how the opals look against different metals. This is all the same opal color!

We're really excited to bring these new designs to life with your help!

Shipping: shipping will be charged after the campaign, roughly 6$ USD shipping (tracking and padded mailer) international will vary based off your location, roughly 15$ + USD cost of shipping (some tracking depending and padded mailer) Any add-ons that are in hand items will be mailed with the nose rings. 

These nose rings are a base metal of hypoallergenic brass (without any lead, cadmium, or nickel). The plating is as follows:
black - gunmetal (zinc/copper/tin alloy);
gold - 18k gold;
rose gold - 18k gold and copper;
silver - rhodium.
The sakura's stones are lab opals, and the roses are enamel.

warning: do not use a salt water solution to clean too often or too regularly; don't rub with abrasive material. clean with clean water and soap. If taken care of regularly they will last a long time. (Adie) has been wearing the nose rings for 8-12 months at a time, cleaning with care and has had no issues with any plating or hinge issues.

Main Goal for the campaign will to unlock 4 Nose Rings! Both designs as flat bar 16 gauge and both designs as Faux Rings. Basically - for every goal reached, BOTH the faux and 16G version is unlocked per design colorway met.

The rose gold colorway shown here is the final approved shape and opal color, meaning the dimensions below are what you'll get.

The roses shown are also fully approved!

Both of these rings will be available as both a 16gauge flat bar septum clicker and as a Faux design upon unlock. 

The reason the cherry blossoms were sampled as faux is because....Midnight doesn't have hers pierced!
Due to health issues, she can't have any piercings. However, the cherry blossom design will also have a flat bar closure when in the 16G (piercing) version.

These as well will have a straight bar for the clicker and the round holding balls for the faux.
 

The rose gold design is THE approved final shape of the ring. The arms are skinny enough to adjust reasonably-quickly, and the opal shade is slightly more vibrant. However, please refer to the campaign intro to see how even the same opal shade looks different when on different metal colors!

This stretch goal is for both the Silver Thorns and Red Roses 16g clicker and faux rings. (not yet sampled but will be similar to the silver and purple)

as well as PINK(!) Metal White Opal Cherry blossom 16g clicker and faux!

This is a color overlay mockup keeping in mind how the colors reflected in the opal will be affected by the metal color. 

There were polls on instagram and on here, and silver->pink won out over black->pink or leaving out pink entirely. 

The flat bar to this design will be either rose gold or gold so that the plating integrity of the part that goes in your piercing (for 16G version) is stronger than that of the anodized metal.

This stretch goal is for the black opal cherry blossom 16g clicker and faux rings (not yet sampled). On gunmetal, opals (which are semi-translucent) look very blue-tinted.

as well as the green thorns and red roses 16g clicker and faux rings. Here is the color the plating will be; they will do their best to match it, but it may slightly differ.

Please refer to how the red looks on gunmetal to get an idea of how it may appear on the green:

However, since the green base is much lighter than black is, the red will be more vibrant. In the sampling phase, we will play around with shades of red to make sure it looks good.

If we reach all stretch goals, we will start funding for restocks of the moth septums (also pictured in the campaign intro) and gold moths as a new addition, and of Adie's 2nd septum ring design!

Add-ons can be added to the cart of either unlocked designs or other previous campaign items between CatHead and Midnight Springs. Each Listing will say whom the item is coming from in the listing. 

Enamel pins, stickers, keychains,  and other jewelry from both shops. Any in stock add-ons will be shipped with the campaign items, not beforehand,  please understand that means there will be a shipping delay. 

Now is the chance to get items from both of us under 1 storefront! 

Production on nose rings takes about 2-3.5 months, from start to delivery. Even though some of these have already been approved, the other piercing style (faux and 16g) of each still needs to be made, and the gunmetal sakura and green thorn roses still need to be made and approved.

Tracking is usually, but not always, provided. Any add-ons that are in-hand items will be mailed with the nose rings. 

Once designs are received they will be quality checked and then shipped out after around 2 weeks of receiving, which should hopefully still be within that window. PLEASE make sure you fill out your survey, or you can't receive your rewards.

Its important to make sure addresses are correct, you'll be able to adjust those before they are locked. once addresses are locked we will not be able to change them without contacting one of us directly through the campaign. They'll be locked once the manufacturer lets us know they're in the final stretch (enameling the roses, and placing the opals).
