Project Update: Photos & Surveys

Greetings, Spectres.

It has been some time. Yet, like a distant figure shambling inexorably across the ice, we have been slowly laboring in obscurity to conclude this chapter of Disremembrance, and turn the page to the next.

Disremembrance’s sold-out run of lab performances was nothing short of a terrifying success, in no small part due to your generous contributions. We could not have brought our creation to life without your aid. Thus, we are electrified to share the offspring of our collective labors.

First, as you readily observe at the open and close of this missive, the photographs produced during the lab performance are ready for public viewing. We have attached but a small taste here – do join the Disremembrance Discord for additional cast portraits & performance photographs, to be posted in the coming days.

Second, shipping surveys for the rewards afforded by your generous pledges have been dispatched. While some number of you were able to obtain some portion of your promised items at the lab performance, we require your addresses to send the remainder. Look for an email and do fill out the survey with haste, dear spectres. Should you require assistance, you have but to message [email protected].

As always, we must express our deepest thanks for your continued patience & support. Until next time, dear spectres.

Project Update: Sticker Snag

Greetings, Spectres.

We unfortunately find our vessel mired in the ice floes of a shipping incident. Your stickers, though marked as delivered by Federal Express, have vanished from the face of this earth.

We are working diligently with our sticker printer to raise to life another shipment. But sadly, we will not have these for you to pick up at the show. Fear not! We shall get you your stickers. You may expect further instructions when we have the items in-hand.

In the meantime, all other physical rewards are available for pickup. Please visit the merch table just inside the entryway at the cell to acquire your items.

If you pledged at a level that affords physical rewards and are not able to secure them in person, you may expect a shipping survey from us in the coming weeks.

Thank you as always, dear spectres, for your patience & grace.

Project Update: Our Final Players

You have waited in the dark long enough, dear spectres. The time has come for a lightning bolt to illuminate our last two cast members.

In the role of John Polidori, Anthony DaSilva:

And newly taking up the role of Claire Clairmont, Caitlin Evans:

We find ourselves beyond delighted to welcome them to the Villa Diodati, and we trust you shall feel the same. Thus is our cast of players fully assembled, and ready upon the slab.

To this effect, we have begun rehearsals in earnest. Our actors, director, and stage management are hard at work in the lab, infusing life into bare words until now merely writ on a page. Each of our characters has been outfitted with their attire, as stitched together (quite literally) by our talented costume designers. And the storm of opening night approaches…

All lab presentation dates save Friday the 31st and Monday the 3rd are now sold out. Do urge anyone wishing to visit the villa on those two dates to claim their spots with haste, spectres.

Project Update: The Shade Drifts In

Good evening, spectres. It is far past time for us to announce another member of our cast of players. Please do welcome Evelyn Chen to the villa:

Evelyn joins us after working on such storied immersive productions as Sleep No More, Life & Trust, and Hotel Wonderland. In our creation, she shall originate the mysterious role of The Shade.

Meanwhile, our labors continue behind the veil! Each day, we assemble more pieces of our creation. We have bags of costumes, boxes of props, & binders of scripts. We have rehearsals booked, spaces planned, & music picked. Our players commence their work tomorrow morning.

Fully half of our lab presentation run is now sold out, spectres. The performances on Thursday the 30th, Saturday the 1st, and Sunday the 2nd have been rendered waitlist-only. Tickets to the villa remain available for Friday the 31st (spooky!), Monday the 3rd, and Tuesday the 4th, but these are dwindling rapidly. If you have yet to do so, please book now.

Project Update: Spectre, Meet Director

Lab presentation performances are filling rapidly, spectres, and the time has come to announce another member of our illustrious body of bards. Perhaps the head? Do join us in welcoming Virginia Logan to the villa as our lab presentation’s director.

After a tremendous showing helming Disremembrance’s workshop reading, we are delighted that she has once again elected to plunge into the storm and bring our play to life. We are certain her labors shall be met with success.

The work continues apace behind the doors of the villa! Your humble producers have sequestered themselves in their garret laboratory to finalize the script, assemble the cast & crew, schedule rehearsals, collect costumes & props, and run our public ticket sale. With one week until our players set foot in the rehearsal studio, there is much to do!

Until our next, spectres.
