Exciting news today: the web app is here! 🎉 

Let’s call this a soft launch. I still haven’t wrangled all the GitHub and open-source logistics just yet, so I took the simpler route for now and published it via Netlify. That said, it’s working really well, if I may say so myself.

I’ve been testing it on both desktop and mobile, and my friend recently pushed an update with some subtle animation touches. Nothing flashy or distracting, just small visual cues so you know when a button has been clicked. You’ll find the link in the exclusive content for backers section right below this update. I’ll also be adding it to the itch.io page so it’s easy to find later on.

Give it a spin, play around with it, and let me know what you think. It’s intentionally simple. No bells and whistles, but practical. I see it as a companion to the book: the book gives you the explanations, examples, and flavor; the web app is there for those moments at the table when you’ve internalized the process and just want a quick result without juggling multiple rolls.

In other news, I’ve received the proofread version of the book back—and hoo-wee. If there were any doubts about how polished this final product will be, fear no more. It was a very thorough and careful pass, and I’m genuinely excited to implement the edits. (Is it too weird that I am excited to implement edits to a document? I don't know, I might be the kind of person who enjoys that final "sanding" of the product, if you will.)

Most of the changes are small, precise things, like capitalization, punctuation, spacing, margin tweaks. So nothing broken or alarming, rest assured. Just that final layer of professional polish. Early next week, you’ll receive an updated PDF reflecting those changes, and shortly after that I’ll be sending the final files to Critical Kit so the printing process can begin.

It’s really happening. I can’t wait to put this book in your hands!
