I've backed the NDLR and MRCC, and I'm quite happy that you propose now an upgrade Kit for the NDLR. Your products follow up is outstanding which is rare ... and you prove it one more time. Thank you. Would it be possible that you provide the power switch also in your parcel, and the metrics where the hole should be ? Free to the customer to solder the power switch (or not) and create the hole (at the right place with the right diameter). Thank you again !

Project Update: We're Off to a Great Start!

Thank You Backers!
We did not have much in the way of expectations for how many noodlers would want to do an upgrade like this, but we did not think there would be much more than 200. That's great! We only aim to please our fellow synth enthusiasts as our legacy matters to us. This is how we "market" our gear, we depend on you all for sharing the story of The NDLR.

This is a Limited Time Offer
Given the costs and tariffs, we will not make many "extra" boards beyond what is reserved by the backers of this crowdfunding campaign. If you have an interest, your best bet is to get in now rather than wait for kits to come up for sale on our website. We are not sure how many will be made available, if any.

Speaking of limited, you must be the owner of the original The NDLR (rev1) to be eligible. There will be questions on the survey at the conclusion of the project to show proof of ownership, and to identify which particular batch your NDLR is from, because there are some differences that affect the kit.

If you do not currently own a The NDLR, they are on sale on our shop, and available at some of the world's best music retailers

Questions? Feel free to contact us through our contact link at conductivelabs.com

Until next time, all the best!
Steve and Darryl

P.S. Subsequent updates will only notify backers and followers. If you want to continue to get these updates, please follow the project.

Edit

In particular, for not having to solder... that would've been not that much fun with a tremor shaking my hands. :D My question: I haven't looked inside my NDLR but given the instructions, I take it that the old motherboard will continue to work on its own. Well, at least if I'll add some knobs and a new box. Is that correct?

Another backer & owner of the original NDLR here. News of the chance to upgrade the unit to the later specs is very much welcomed. As another backer has mentioned, Iā€™d also like the option to drill, mount & solder a power switch if this is feasible? Dimensions and required placement location could all be covered in a drilling/mounting template to avoid errors. And why not let your new backers show off their upgrades with a Conductive Labs decal to go on the rear facing panel, something suitable that shows the unit has been given a new lease of life! Cheers and best wishes!
