Project Update: Week 2 Update
Hello Folks, time for another update for Twelve Endings!
Thanks to the generous support of our backers, we've reached our funding goal, but I know we can do even better.
Time is running out with only 6 days left in the campaign. Anyone waiting for the last moment, now's the time to hop on!

Behind the Scenes
Each tale in this book has a long and and storied history. For posterity, I reflected on each story's evolution at the end of Twelve Endings; just a little writeup of each.
One of my reader's really enjoyed this behind the scenes look, so I thought I'd share a spoiler-free snippet from the making of The Secret Within (the free story you can read here).
"This is one of my oldest short stories. When I starting collecting material for this book, I had not read The Secret Within in almost 10 years. I barely remembered it, so it was almost like reading someone else’s story. I had no idea where it was heading, and I was captivated.
At the end of the story, I had written myself a note that simply said: “Find alternate ending?” Apparently, my past self was not satisfied with the conclusion. I considered writing an alternate ending, but I wrestled with the idea..."
I'll cut it off before the spoilers begin. Each story has a similar behind the scenes look that includes alternate directions the story could have gone and some surprises.

What's Next?
Once the campaign wraps up, there are two big tasks before I can print & ship books.
First off, my editor needs to finish his review and I need to make all the changes. Right now, the stories are gems, but with some polish they'll shine even brighter. We're going to be meticulous, picking apart every little detail so that the stories are as flawless as possible.
Next up, I need to setup the pledge manager. From your end this will look like a simple questionnaire that will collect information such as shipping costs and mailing addresses. I need to finalize some costs before I can make this, but I hope to send these out in late August.
Once both steps are complete, I can prep the final files for printing and send them to production. I'm using a POD (print on demand) printer, so this should go relatively fast (a week or so), then everything gets shipped to backers!
Thanks for joining me on this journey, we're getting close,
-Corey
