The Lumpia films and comics follow the story of Kuya, a Filipino superhero who uses lumpias as his weapons to fight crime. When Patricio and I were having a little cultural exchange, (which Puerto Rican and Filipino culture tend to have striking similarities), I joked about the Puerto Rican version being an Alcapurria. And so the X for the collab is now a lumpia and an alcapurria! The characters George and Jemini are seen holding their own, and Kuya, of course, will always have the titled lumpia. Acantha, being the greedy snackee of my comic, joins in!
