I have a little bit of an update regarding the pins, though it's probably not one you'll want to hear.
My manufacturer messaged me this morning to let me know that some of the pins ended up oxidizing during the electroplating process. While the quality of it isn't great, she sent me a photo of one of the pins for reference. The blackened looking spots along the mold line is the damage.
The quality of these pins is not what you all paid for, so this is the updated plan:
Step 1: Figure out how many of the pins were damaged- My rep hasn't gone through all of the pins yet and notified me when she first spotted an issue. I was not the only creator this has affected, so I'm guessing there's a decent amount of damage.
Step 2: Shipping any good pins- Once my rep gets back to me on numbers, if there are any pins that came out unscathed, they will be shipped to me, and I will send them to as many backers as possible after double checking them myself.
Step 3: Replating and/or Remaking- For the damaged pins, the first plan is to see if they can get replated. If they cannot be re-plated, the pins will be completely remade. Depending on the process, it could take another 1-3 months to get these.
Please note that this does NOT affect the remaining pins on the Release the Quacken Campaign if you have backed for both. I switch between my manufacturers to not overwhelm them with every project. I also had the pride mask mold with a different manu, so there were also no issues with that one.
I'm really sorry for the inconvenience and the extra wait. Once I get a better idea of what all needs to get redone, I'll pop back in and let ya'll know.

Stickers Arrived! Sticker Only Pledges Shipping Soon

I just wanted to pop in and let you know that the stickers have arrived!
For those of you who have backed for only stickers and aren't waiting on pins/keychains, I will be starting shipment at the end of the weekend into next week!
As for the keychains, I did check in on these and am waiting to hear back from my manu. Pins are still in production.

Everything Ordered; Errored Cards and Missing Surveys

Just popping in with a quick update!
Production Update:
As of yesterday, just about everything has been officially ordered. I was approving pin proofs while on vacation and made the order, so they have been in production for a couple weeks now.
I finalized the sticker/keychain files and made the orders over the weekend. These will probably be done and shipped to me in May sometime, so if anyone ordered only those items, you’ll get your items shipped before the pins arrived.
Tote bags are complete and have arrived, so they are ready to go as well!
Surveys and Errored Cards:
There are still a good number of missing surveys and errored cards; about 30 in total. Please double check these so you can get your items! The longer these are delayed, the less chance you have of getting the items you want, especially after fulfillment is complete.
This reminder does not apply to pay over time backers as I have already accounted for you in the counts :)

I have provided an option for you to have your cards charged for additional add-ons/shipping for either now or April 20th. If you have chosen to have your cards charged right away but backed for an unlockable tier, your card will not be charged until the item(s) is funded.
There is one unlockable item- The pride mask pin. Just like with the campaign, if they don’t fund, you won’t be charged for it!
There are add ons for both custom stickers and keychains. Requested flag colors must be new and not already in the campaign. For those of you who plan on adding these on, I just ask that you choose one in order to give other backers an opportunity to have their flag represented as well since slots are limited.
Pay Over Time Backers- Surveys will be sent to you once balances are fully settled.
If y'all could fill out the surveys at your earliest convenience, that would great! The sooner we get most of the surveys completed, the sooner I can get accurate counts and get the items into production. ^^

I don't always see posts or comments on here and we don't get notified all the time. I am also out of the country right now, so expect a slight delay in responses since due to the time differences.
Unless there’s a large issue with the survey I didn’t see in the smoke test results, I probably won’t make an update until closer to the middle or and of the month. I have the artwork sent into the Manu already, so once I get numbers, production should start fairly quick.
Campaign Complete! Pre-order Store Open and Next Steps

Thank you all so much for the last two and a half weeks! I'm glad to announce that all 18 pins have been funded!
Next Steps:
Backerkit will start working on processing all payments. In the next few days, you will be receiving an email whether your payment has processed or errored.
If you have errored payments, please get these corrected asap so the next steps can move along smoothly.
Surveys:
Surveys will be sent out in approximately a week or so. During that time, you will be able to confirm your pledge, add on any items you may have missed during the campaigns, and set up payment for shipping.
I will have some slots open for custom stickers and keychains. You will be able to choose from the 4 original designs (Frolic, Nestle, Reverie, and Bloom) as well as the flag colors of your choosing. There will be a limit of 1 custom per backer to give others a chance to have their flag represented, and it's only for flags that weren't in the campaign. If there are duplicate requests, I'll increase the slots to compensate.
I'll also have two new items! One is for a pin version of the pride mask. It will be an unlockable item, so if it doesn't fund during the survey, you won't be charged for it!
I'll also have a tote bag. Please keep in mind that this is only a mock up. I did this really last minute yesterday, and have to make adjustments with my manu. I plan on making sure the kitsune's ear isn't so close to getting cut off at the top. I'm hoping to have official sample photos before surveys go out, so this is just a placeholder for now.
Pre-Order Store:
For those of you who missed out during the campaign, the pre-order store is now OPEN. You will be able to purchase items from the store and receive them at the same time as backers. The only items I haven’t added in yet were the tote bag and sticker book. I am waiting for them to import on the back end so I can get them added since they were added/edited mid-campaign. They should be up within a couple days though.
**PLEASE NOTE: If you have backed this project, please wait until you receive your survey to add on items. If you utilize the preorder store, you will be charged for shipping twice. The same items will be available during the survey.** _________
It's also worth mentioning that I will be out of the country starting Sunday through April 14th.
