Righteous Vow Vol. 2: The Whispers of Minh is a third party adventure zine compatible with Shadowdark RPG. This project will help us to fully fund the creation and production of Righteous Vow, and get new zines printed for you to enjoy.
"Righteous Vow Volume 2: The Whispers of Minh" is a 120+ page epic adventure zine overflowing with a full original adventure, original art, new ancestries, original maps, a hexcrawl, new magic items, and more! Set in the land of Minh. The adventure features the Ratkin of Minh and their war against the Lizardmen of the Cult of Ssept.
We set out to create a third party zine compatible with Shadowdark RPG that not only provided an easy entry point for players, but also something that welcomed new game masters to running adventures. Each volume of Righteous Vow is written to immerse our readers in the world they're about to explore. Plenty of original art masterfully illustrated by Andrew Beckwith, Uriah Groves, and DeWayne Rogers. Complimented by written content and descriptions by Bill Harvat. We pour as much value into each volume of Righteous Vow as we can, giving readers hours and often weeks of material to run through with their gaming group. It has always been our aim to provide a wealth of rich RPG content that can be prepped with minimal effort, and enjoyed over and over again. PDF and print copies are fulfilled by DriveThruRPG. Backers receive a one-time code for PDF and/or print-on-demand (POD) copies. POD backers are responsible for a small printing and shipping fee, and DriveThruRPG prints and ships their books. This is the most cost-efficient method we've found to get print copies to our backers. If you're unfamiliar with DriveThruRPG's print on demand, the booklet costs are approx. $6 + shipping per book for books in the USA. Of this, $3 is collected via Backerkit, and $3 is collected by DriveThruRPG per book for printing (actual price depends on final page count). These paperback books retail for more, so you're saving by backing us on Backerkit. Additional costs may be incurred from customers in the EU or customers impacted by UK shipping tariffs. Please check with your local post offices, as these situations vary by region and package details.
We are on track for a March launch of the zine. There is still editing and some revising to be done. But the zine is written, and the layout is 98% done. Once the zine is approved and ready on DriveThruRPG you will receive your at-cost print copies once they are available to be printed. Just a very clear and transparent heads up that these will not be instantaneously available for you to print. But we fully intend for these to be ready by March or even sooner if things go well. (Really hoping for late February. But as the saying goes, underpromise and overdeliver!)

Your risks are minimal. We've successfully written Volume 1, and Volume 2 is already in editing. Which means that this project is nearly ready for deployment once final edits and print proofing is done.
